I was so excited to find this! I buy my grandkids one every year from a local store. However they sold out before I could get one. This is even better than the store. I bought a different one for each grandchild. There were so many to choose from. And glad to buy from a small business. I will be buying again next year.

The chocolate was ok, the kids loved it. However, upon delivery, all of the chocolate squares had fallen out of their recesses and I had to sort them all and put them back in. Of course, hanging it was a nightmare because when one of the doors was being opened and the candy "popped" out from behind, the rest of the chocolate would promptly fall out as well. What a killjoy! Then, there was the issue with opening the doors. The doors are barely perforated, impossible for my 3 or 8 yo's to open on their own. Every day, I had to gently reach behind the Santa scene, my whole hand literally in the box to force each door open. Some of them ripped off completely trying to force them open. Having owned advent calendars all my life, this one was absolutely the worst! Not fun at all for my kids or me, except that they enjoyed the chocolate. I would have rather purchased a simpler, kid-friendlier calendar and handed each child a Hershey kiss each day instead of dealing with this mess!

The chocolates were loose in both boxes I received. I was at least able to open the box and slide the chocolates back in their compartments.
