I bought this silent basketball for my 6-year-old so he can practice dribbling inside the house, and it has been a game changer. The ball is really quiet, you can hardly hear it, and it definitely does not distract your neighbours. On the other hand - it is not as heavy as the real ball, you need to get accustomed to it. But it helps in drible learning and does its job well. The ball feels solid, and if not exposed to sharp object should serve for longer time.

Overall, definitely worth it. My son is getting borderline obsessively annoying about getting better at basketball, and he uses this daily. Definitely quieter than a normal ball, and the peace of mind I have that he's less likely to break something or knock over the toddler while dribbling around is priceless. The bounce isn't perfect though; it doesn't bounce back as high as a normal ball would. However, I would rather he practice with this than those plastic balls from those indoor toy basketball sets because it's the size of a normal ball (quieter than those plastic balls too).

The silent basketball is a well made product. We purchased the silent basketball for indoor use in our home gym. The ball makes little to no noise and functions as described in the product listing. The size 7 can easily be handled/gripped by adults and children and our family have enjoyed testing our shooting and dribbling skills. The basketball was reasonably priced and has allowed us to have so much fun.

Love how silent this ball is! My son has 3 older sisters and it drives them crazy when he would bounce a normal basketball in the house. Now that he has this everyone is happy 😊 its quiet, bounces just like a normal ball and doesn't damage the floors.

The ball is very cool and my son loves it but it is damaged. The ball comes vacuum sealed and takes a few hours to fully inflate and get round. Once it was full size, there were a bunch of pin holes and a tear before we could even use it. My son is super disappointed as he bought this with his Christmas money.

The ball started peeling after just one week of very light indoor use. My son only practised simple dribbling at home, no shooting, no outdoor play. Update after another week: Each bounce left small pieces of sponge scattered across the floor, to the point where we eventually had to throw the ball away. Disappointing quality for such limited use.

Good quality. We had another version that was made from a softer foam and it started breaking up and leaving little bits of orange foam everywhere. This one is made from a more dense solid material that doesn’t do that. It’s double the price of other versions but worth it if you want it to last and not fall apart. My boys use it every day, it’s completely silent and it saves my Mumma sanity from basketballs bouncing inside the house!!
