Do the 20 cf tanks take regular sized gauge fittings off of full size welding lines or require smaller gauges? I have an older Airco gauges and hoses

Don't listen to these people. DOT governs all gas pressurized bottles.They have to be hydrostatic tested every 5 years by law.Every type of gas has a color. Oxygen is green,Co2 is black, 100% Argon is gray 75/25Argon and Co2 mix is maroon ext. Don't answer questions if you don't know what your talking about please.

Why do they sell oxygen and acetylene tanks if you can't fill them up?

I’ve never had any problem getting my tanks filled. You must ensure the bottles have been checked in accordance with the safety criteria. The seller of the gas usually checks that.
