Very simple to setup,just follow directions.Really like the ease of finger touch pad opening. No problems setting it up. Seems to be sturdy steel. Has cable that will utilize to wrap around steel bedframe. With Illinois' new law, can no longer leave unlocked.

Easy to set up, perfect amount of space for your safety piece! We were able to set up mine and my husbands finger print so I feel a little more protected and I know it’s stored safely away from the kids! So far the batteries have held up great! It only takes a second for it to read your finger print and it’s open and easy to access!

This handgun safe is great. Fits my Taurus G2c, & My Ruger Ec9s, has a soft durable cushion in the inside, safe itself feels very durable…. Setting up the Password & Fingerprint was easy because the instructions are easy to understand. only me &, my 2 daughter’s thumbprint can unlock it. I plan on purchasing more in the future!

I received this fairly quickly. The steel seems a little thin, which corresponds to the light weight of the product. However, it is very rigid, the tolerances are very good on the door, and the hinges and the door fits tightly into the box.The instructions are surprisingly clear and this is very easy to set up a PIN and multiple fingerprints. Like all readers, it is a little sensitive to clean and the temperature of your finger when you engage the reader. Your finger needs to be clean and warm for it to work at its best. I found out by accident that you can apply the finger from the front or from the back which is handy if you’re reaching down into a drawer and it will work given the above limitations.Also the width of the product which corresponds to the height of the weapon when you place it in this container is not quite as wide as I would like. I put a CZ 10 F in it which has a slightly longer Magazine holding 21 rounds and it occupies the entire width of the box. The length of the box has extra room on either end of the weapon , it is fairly well padded and lined.Overall for the price and his other reviewers say the better than average working of the fingerprint reader, make this a pretty good value for the money and as above I think it’s functionality is also very good.I saw one Reeder say they found out by accident, but read the instructions. Well, you will come across the section it tells you how to disable the beeping sound when it opens upon a finger. Overall it’s very quiet in operation once you apply that setting.I recommend a purchase and it is held up with pretty consistent use for a couple of months now.

Easy to set up fingerprint and code. Enough room for full size 9mm and extra clip. Security cable on the short side but made it work. Lid is pretty secure..won't stop crowbar...but overall good product. Thinking about buying another one.

Received two of these safes on time as advertised. One safe was defective and would not open (it did open one time before breaking down) but did program and function electronically. The seller immediately engaged and shipped me replacement.The products are well built and offer three way access - fingerprint, key and digital code at a great price.Definitely recommend and should your device/safe be received with problems, I highly recommend you reach out to email the customer service contact provided with your order. They were very responsive.

Programming codes and fingerprints is a breeze, the instructions are clear and straightforward with little to no room for error, the safe itself seems sturdy and durable with plenty of room to fit 3 mags (2 of which are extended) and a compact pistol with a bit of room to spare. The speed at which the safe pops open upon finger print is quick enough where I'm confident in an emergency situation I'll be able to access my firearm when needed with no hassle. The keypad input obviously takes longer but it still really responsive and the fact we can program multiple sets of prints and codes makes it easy to plan for emergencies.My only real issue is the fact the safe runs on 4 AA batteries (which I likely skipped over in product details as I don't recall seeing that listed), but I suppose that's more a personal gripe than anything as even without batteries powering the keypad/print scanner I still have the key which pops the safe really quick. I feel an improvement could be the addition of a solar strip/magnetic charging option to at least power the fingerprint scanner in the even you the batteries run out and you don't have access to the key.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the product and will update in a few months to a year if I have any issues or find any faults.Would recommend though as a entry safe
