Q: does it have much odor and is it ok on hands?

It has a pretty strong hospital cleaner odor which is great you know it's really killing all germs, it reassuring to guests. I've never had any issues on my hands with or with out gloves.

Q: Can this be used on uphostery? (Sanitize a used couch)

It is not suggested for use on a couch. CaviCide Surface Disinfectant's suggested use is for hard, non-porous surfaces.

Q: Is this good for tattoo equipment sanitation? Not needles. Just the machine itself , work station, and spray bottles

Yes, this is hospital grade. I use it to clean my permanent make up station.
