I usually buy a bag of Ginger People's ginger chews at the store, but I tend to go through them quite quickly. I hadn't seen their hard candies until I searched here. Knowing I liked their other products and being a hard candy fiend, I went for this case of 12 boxes. It arrived quickly and each individual box is seperately wrapped in plastic, so they'll stay fresh if you're not a rabid ginger fan like me.Each box has about 50 individually wrapped candies. A serving is 6 pieces which has 70 calories and 16g carbs (14g sugar), which is half the amount in the same size serving of other hard candies. It has double the amount of ginger per piece then their chews (16% vs 8%), but it's not nearly as spicy. It has a nice bite that is easily tolerable for those who cannot handle the chews.These do not leave that feeling like you need to brush your teeth right after like other hard candies, and won't turn your tongue crazy colors. They're great for after lunch, helps with digestion so my stomach doesn't make loud unhappy sounds during class that I usually get when I have a very short lunch break. It also helps neutralize garlic breath. I also am on a medication that causes nausea and dry mouth, and these are my savior!

I absolutely love these little chunks of gold! I was in Las Vegas at a Marshell’s Store when I found them first. Went back the next day and bought them out! I ordered a case from amazon too! They help curb my appetite! I don’t want to snack on junk food anymore! I have lost about 10 pounds in less than 2 weeks..

My daughter and I love Ginger, was not aware until around Christmas that it came in hard candy form. Found this on Amazon ordered and we are totally enjoying. Will be ordering again. Not too hot & spicy, its just right. My daughter said "Mom, I couldn't stop, I almost ate the whole box." Love it when I find something she enjoys.

I really like these but I received the wrong strength - I received the regular strength when I asked for the double strength. Too much trouble to return. Just be sure that you get the right strength when you order.

While I like ginger candies, I thought these were just so-so and will probably not order them again. I prefer the Gin-Gin's original chewy ginger candies more. The hard candies don't have the zip that I have come to enjoy in ginger candy.
