Square D Homeline 100 Amp 2-Pole Circuit Breaker: Circuit Breaker Panels: desertcart.com: Tools & Home Improvement Review: Each manufacturer has different types of breakers. Write it down before you start researching. - This was purchased to feed a sub panel to a detached garage. No issues. Installed it with relative ease for this application. Review: Wonderful - Just for transparency, the breaker I received from desertcart was the wrong part but that was due to incorrect labeling from seller. I sourced the part locally (@ 2x price) and it's a much better product than the off brand breaker that didn't last a year. No more brown outs! Always buy Square D brand (for SD boxes) the others just don't last long. Make sure your box is either Homeline or "QO", they aren't interchangeable. I hate telling people that it's easy to replace, it is easy IF you know what you're doing. DIY is great to save money until you hurt yourself or burn down your house. Please be careful.

Quality breakers that will last
the Homeline products from Square D are just high quality, period. My house's panel was installed in 1993, to my knowledge, we haven't had a single breaker failure during that time. This thing is BIG - but it fits in the panel well. Gave me the juice for my 100 amp sub panel. All of these breakers can get pricey, but the value is good.

Good breaker
I have used a lot of Square D Homeline products, with very good success. My "local" (45 miles away) big box stores were out of these breakers. Amazon had what I needed, for about the same price. To be honest, the breaker did arrive with a very small piece of cracked plastic. I didn't feel that it was a functional issue and it is out of sight when installed. I used a little super glue on it and called it good. The breaker is installed to feed a new sub panel and is working fine.
