ZVOX Omni Replacement Remote Control

Works great! So happy it was hassle-free to replace the original remote. This one even feels better in the hand because it has a slightly matte surface (also makes it less slippery so I drop it less often).

Works so muck better than the original remote! It comes with LITHIUM batteries that will never leak and almost last forever. When you press the button, it makes a distinctive click, it's also thicker and easier to hold onto. So good I bought a second one for our other sound base. (also the best investments we have ever made, the sound is AWESOME) :-)

A Duracell battery leaked in my original ZVOX remote. Though the damage is minor and the remote still works fine, it’s just old enough that I got this as a backup. Upon receiving it, I wanted to briefly install batteries to test it, but the battery compartment cover was almost impossible to remove. We finally pried it open with a letter opener, and the cover flew across the floor. The tab likely broke off since it’s now shorter than the tab on the old remote battery cover (which broke off when the remote fell on hard flooring), but whatever, I’m not putting the cover back on anyway. (I’m tired of leaky batteries so am switching all remotes to rechargeable batteries, which are somewhat less leak prone. Since rechargeable ones need switching more regularly, to avoid having to deal with hard-to-open battery covers, I’m just putting the covers away.) On the more positive side, the new ZVOX remote is thicker and has smaller buttons that stick out further but are still easy to press. As expected, it worked immediately with my ZVOX soundbar out of the “box” (shipping envelope and plastic protector bag). A neutral observation is that it has a matte finish whereas the original has a glossy finish.

If for any reason you need a new Zxox remote this is perfect. So happy I found it! Install the supplied batteries and your all set! No setup required.

After many years of use the original remote for the Zvox sound bar quit. I ordered this one and what an improvement with the raised function buttons. Our older smart tv speakers are at the bottom of the tv making it difficult to hear and turning up the sound did not make the clarity any better. After much research the Zvox sound bar was the clear choice and we have used it for many years. New remotes great. Highly recommend Zvox products

Great replacements for my original remote. In fact, even better than the original. It has a nice, matte, rubber like face with raised buttons and works perfectly right out of the package. Insert the provided batteries, point and click…no pairing required. My original remote had difficulty with the on/off button, after years of wear. This new remote…BAM…on and off with no issues. I recommend this replacement remote.
