The 'blue' is actually turquoise, very pretty color. I followed set up directions, then used the aJoy electric kettle, and it's a great addition to my home and kitchen. The heating plate does not get hot on the bottom, so there is no worry about it warping or burning the surface the unit sits on. The handle of the kettle stays cool, the water in the kettle stays hot for about an hour after the auto-off turns off, and the exterior temperature gage is a handy reference. Cute, effective and fun!

Looked high and low for a teapot to replace my glass one that was very difficult to keep clean and often had floating flakes from hard water. I use a French Press for coffee, and need coffee to make coffee so ease of use was important! My kitchen is white with SeaGlass, so I did choose based on color as much as anything, but reviews on more expensive teapots weren't great so decided to give this one a try. Very pleasantly surprised, it's fast enough and quiet, easy to use/pour and clean with its wide opening and spout... no more floating chunks in my coffee and it looks great on my countertop! With houseguests I've used it several times without cooling down with no problem. So far so good and if it does eventually quit, it didn't break the bank!

Very impressed by the quality of the product. Easy to use and looks great on the countertop. Made of stainless steel with the heating elements. I've been using the kettle multiple times per day and it works simply and beautifully. It boils water quickly, and it shuts off by itself once it's reached the boil. 5 stars

This kettle is so cute. It heats up water fairly quickly (relative to my old one) and I love the temperature gauge on it since I use the hot water for French press coffee and so I don't want my water to boil. Note that the gauge is in celsius so you'll need to convert your preferred temperature to that ahead of time. Easy to do with Alexa!

I am obsessed with making tea and this was the first electric kettle I bought for my tea-making. I thought it boiled tea fairly well but ultimately I ended up buying another kettle because this one did not have enough features for me. I initially liked the thermometer but after testing the water against another thermometer I bought there seemed to be disparities in the broadcasted temperature which I didn't like. Generally I found the readings to be fairly accurate but they didn't quite meet my persnickety expectations.It's good for the price but it did leave me wanting more which is why I bought another kettle.

Love this pot. Matches my Jadite kitchen beautifully. Easy to operate and heats up water fast. So far so good! Very pleased overall.

I've been using this kettle every day for the last 2-3 weeks and haven't had a single problem with it! Love the temperature gauge so I can turn the kettle off earlier to brew green tea, which requires a lower water temp than black teas or coffee. And it's a beautiful addition to my kitchen! 10/10 would recommend

The two prong plug became hot by the the water boiled. The outlet I use is used for electrical appliance in the kitchen, of course. Then, I tried to return it; the kettle can only be returned via UPS. I didn't see that...and went to Whole Foods Amazon counter to return. The Amazon attendant scanned the return, took the package, and then said "oops I made a mistake; you can only return this at UPS." I said OKAY. I will take the package back and bring it to UPS. The Amazon attendant said: "No..I cannot give the package to you once it is scanned. True it will end up just sitting here and you won't get a refund," She then said: call Amazon. I did call Amazon and ONE HOUR later, they said NOT OUR PROBLEM. I am a great loyal customer... BUY a lot on Amazon. This is wrong, unethical, and just BAD business.
