This is my first real kit for shaving, love the feel of the shaving puck and the cream, my face feels smooth after a shave and it doesn’t burn afterwards, very nice and smells great.

The soap smells good and lathers reasonably well. I started off incorrectly but, after reading a couple of articles, had much better results, though, I’ve never gotten the aerosol type foam you see in the adverts. I did end up getting another steel bowl but a small tea or coffee cup will work just fine. I’ve found that I don’t need much.

Why pay more for shave creams when this one is just as good as a lot of shave creams and better than most. It also has a light pleasant scent.

I was curious about wet shaving and purchased this kit to get me started, rather than purchase all of the components separately. To start, it was relatively inexpensive. You would pay more if you bought each item separately, and you would probably buy a better quality item for each. But that was the point. I wasn’t sure I was going to stick with it, so I was unwilling to make the investment in better tools. Since I decided to keep wet shaving, I have upgraded the shave cream and the brush. I’m still using the tiny bowl and I am happy with the quality of it. I really am taken with the shaving bowl. It’s on the small side, and that works for me. It allows me to lather up in the bowl completely, and probably causes me to be more economical with the shave cream. In case you’re curious, the shave cream I’m using is Supply Ultra Lather Shave Cream. I recommend it without reservation. I also recommend that you consider using shaving oil. I have had a good experience with Woody’s for men shave oil.

The shaving bowl is very small and the included brush is perfect for stuffing it in a small toiletry bag. The included soaps are pretty decent,but hard to get a good lather.This is at best a travel size set so just a heads up if you're looking for this to be your main wet shave setip

Husband likes this set up. Reminds him of watching his dad shave. Loves the feel of warm foam on his face.

Brush works well. Soap cup really not necessary, I uses Nivea gel with soap brush, Works great, No better than soap in kit,
