Chiller works well and can get Chiller tub cold as you want it if properly insulated.
I use this with a rubbermaid 150 gallon feed tub. I love in central Florida and temps are high 90s constantly. The tub is on my patio. Ran it 24/7, got it to about 50 degrees with. no insulation around it. Power bill went up about $200 that month. So I built a cabinet for it and insulated it. Now it runs about 4.5 hours each evening, from 2am-6:30 am and gets water temp down to 40-42 degrees. The key is that is you are using the chiller tub on a hot patio to insulate the tub, otherwise it will impact your power bill. One minor improvement would be to provide a larger pump, at 1/10th HP, if the chiller is on a platform higher than the pump, the pump doesn't have the power to push the water up and will not circulate. I would be interested to hear about any pump upgrades that have been successful. The chiller and pump fit into the open space, I could enclose it with air vents but would somewhat limit circulation of the air flow so I will leave it open.

Stopped working after a week
I bought the 2/3Hp unit for use in Texas Summer to cool my cold tub. it worked great for the first week, keeping my water cold at 50-55F. but it stopped cooling the water after a week. luckily still in my return window. If you purchase to try out, KEEP THE BOX!

Great Vendor and customer service. Love the unit.
Great Customer Service. Very happy with the unit. I bought a 2/3 hp and use it to chill my 450 quart Grizzly cooler I use as an insulated cold plunge. Works great. I am here in Florida. Unit is outside. It easily maintains 38 degrees all summer long. Using a smart switch, I have it schedule to turn on two sessions a day, 4 hrs. each session (8hrs total). No problem running on a 10 amp rated smart switch.

Keeps Water Cold
I bought a cold plunge from Costco and bought this to keep the water cold. At first it looked like the pump didn’t work but it was because it needed to be filled with water first. I used my hose to fill the pump line with water and then placed it in the ice bath. It works perfectly now. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because the temperature gauge is always about 5-6 degree off. If it says it’s 46 degrees F then it’s actually 40 degrees.

Chiller did not work on arrival
Product arrived with packaging in acceptable condition but when installed failed to cool the water. The fan and pump ran but the machine didn't work. Huge hassle to ship back as the machine is relatively heavy and cumbersome.

Great little chiller!
This thing works like a charm! I was so disappointed when my Edge Theory chiller stopped working. This chiller is the perfect replacement and super easy to install.

Pump already went out so looking to have to buy a new one. They don’t list any of the parts on here so that’s why 3 stars

legit
I did a lot of research before buying, and I’m glad I went with the 1HP unit. Living in a warm climate where outdoor temps hit the high 90s, a smaller unit just wasn’t practical. When I swap in fresh water, it usually starts around 85°F. With the 1HP chiller, it takes about 6 hours to bring that down into the mid-50s, even in those hot conditions. Once the water is cold, the tub holds around 70°F under the heat, and the chiller only needs a couple of hours to bring it back down to the mid-50s. After 6 weeks of daily use, the performance has been consistent and reliable. I’d definitely recommend going with the 1HP model if you don’t want to spend all day waiting for your water to cool.
