Was able to ollie after 5 minutes
Before I got the skate trainers I practiced skating and trying to ollie for about 4 hours over a period of two weeks. After getting the skate trainers I was able to ollie after 5 minutes. These trainers allow you to learn the technique of the ollie quickly because you don't need strong stabilizer muscles or great balance to do the trick. Now all I need to do is skate more to build the muscles and improve balance. TIPS: Tighten your trucks. This will make it easier to balance. The most helpful youtube video I found on learning to ollie was this one: How To Ollie by VLSkate

2 functional uses for me!
Genius! Not only are these great for practicing tricks on concrete and letting you get out of the grass, I've also started using them as a hack at work! I have consistent sciatic issues and so I invested in a motorized sitting/standing desk about a year ago and have been using a standing mat that is really comfortable. My only issue with my mat is it doesn't do anything to help activate my core when I'm changing standing positions on a flat surface rather than activating my core with an uneven surface. My chiropractor recommended looking into standing balance boards or uneven mats and I quickly found how expensive they are! By bringing my skateboard to work with these grips on, I have the perfect DIY standing motion board! These rubber wheel grips keep the board perfecting in place and even though my HR guy was a little worried, he couldn't argue with its purpose and stability vs. another really expensive board someone else in the office had for their standing desk. Function in two areas of my life gets a 5-star rating from me! Also, want to address someone else mentioning them being hard to get on the wheel. While that's true its a bit tough, I see that as a sign of solid construction because it's not so tough that you need any assistance from anyone or anything besides your hands to get them on. I'm a 5'2" petite female who doesn't really have much muscle and was able to do get them on just fine :)

Teach An Old Dog New Tricks
I am 33 years old and consider myself a new learner. The only experience I had skating was achieving a sloppy stationary Ollie on a Toysrus board with plastic trucks back when I was 12 or so, over 20 years ago. Skater Trainers had me ollying in under half an hour, and I am get a smoother more natural Ollie than I ever did as a kid. Not worrying about sticking the landing, or having to deal with the wheels moving around while preparing to Ollie frees you up to focus on the movement. Obviously the training wheels will have to come off eventually, but practicing while they're on is so much more efficient and productive. If you are a new learner these will shave hours and hours and hours off the learning curve, they really are an outstanding product.

Helped with ollies!
Daughter tried to ollie for over a week. A couple of hours with these trainers and she was able to ollie. I wish these were around when I was a kid.

These are Genius. Stop being old school - healthcare is too expensive!
My kid kept trying to get me to buy these and I consistently refused since I'm old school. I figured if a kid really wants to learn they should do it on the sidewalk skinned knees and all. Then I realized how expensive health care is and bought them. Now I realize these are genius. I was back to doing Ollies in no time. Oh, and my kid starting to get the hang of it too! These are definitely a confidence booster for the kids and sometimes thats all they need to get going!

Learn tricks with confidence!
I felt a bit out gunned trying to learn how to skateboard being 35 years old. These helped me gain the confidence I needed to overcome the fear of breaking a hip while trying to ollie (I'm only half joking). Skate trainers combined with some instructional videos from Braille, I was able to successfully ollie within 15-20 minutes! The only con is I already wore a hole through my brand new Van's. (Obviously not by fault of the Skate Trainers). I recommend these if you need that little bit of confidence boost to try new tricks.

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Well worth it. I’ve only landed one Ollie before today. Was popping them left and right after I put on the trainers. Now I know where I need improvement.

I like these things
I like these things!I'm an old man (34) pulled my deck out to show the youngsters what's up and was a little rusty. Seen these and gave um a shot. Figured they would be good for the kids to learn on....better than the grass or carpet I did a few decades ago.Wish I would have invented them

Recommended by pro skateboarders across the web. My son is very pleased with these and they seem do certainly do the job.
These are £20... but rather intricate and clearly well thought out and very strong. They work a treat to keep the skateboard steady whilst you or (in my case) your son/daughter practice their skills outside on concrete, or in front of you in the lounge on a piece of hardboard without fear of the skateboard going into you/your TV! If you search for Skateboard tricks/tips online, most of the pro skateboarders seem to recommend them whilst you practice your "Ollie" or other such tricks. Do note though as one YouTuber stated - and I'm trying to get across to my 12 year old! - these tricks can take 6 months to learn or more! Keep persevering and these are clearly the tool you need to do that. Recommended.

If you want to progress your skateboarding then these are a must have
Back skating after a 20 yr absence, skateboarding is not like 'riding a bike' :-) You do forget! These are fantastic to help you with learning the technical side of a trick safely - knowing that the wheels will not roll.Great product, does exactly what it claims to, fast delivery and decent price - thank you

Not worth £20
looks like plastic packaging - it took my son a while to get used to - in the end he threw them away and just got on with it himself. Not impressed they cost over £20.

Future Tony Hawk
These are class. They do exactly what they need to do.Please please make sure you learn to ride before using these. Learn to kick off and just stroll without them.I did my first Ollie with these so I’d say they’re worth the coin.

Great for practice in a small area
We have limited patio space in the back garden and this has helped my son no end practicing out of sight of other kids in our garden which only has a small patio area.Doesn’t have to worry about running into the wall.Board is stationary so he loves it.
