Over Heating Issues!!!
Has a problem with the battery charging heating up issues pretty bad. Can't get the thing to stay cool. It would probably benefit some who buys this by sitting it in a cooler area so it doesn't heat up to much!

Definitely Happy
Very pleased with this purchase. Took it to AT&T whom set everything up in a matter of 15 mins. Started using it the next day and it’s so easy to use. So happy!!!

Connects up to 4 devices, not ideal
It does the job and saves us from having to spend a fortune on Starlink. However, only up to 4 devices will connect, so when guests come over, they aren't able to use wifi. Battery lasts 13 ish hours.

Crystal clear easy to install
Swapped out our old netgear for this one. Only downside is you have to keep a battery in it for it to run, and therefore it must be unplugged for a few hours every day so the battery doesnt 'overcharge' ie., overheat.Took it to ATT and they set it up, it gives great clear video for our security cameras.

Expensive Data Plans & Old Version
AT&T has two data plans for this device:50 Gigs for $65 / month or 100 Gigs for $100 / month. Not worth it when you only use it a few times a year when camping as in my use case. This .Franklin A50 is a very old version according to the AT&T storeYou can just use your .mobile phone as a hot spot instead of this device.I do not recommend this device.
