Proto J5285 3/8" Drive Sliding T-Handle, 8"

High quality, extremely well built. The head has good tension against the main rod when sliding back and forth. It's not too loose, just good tension there. It also has a middle detent, and stopping notches on both distal ends. Did I say it has good tension, and not too loose? ;) Made in the USA. High quality, well built, reasonable price. If I could rate this a 10, I would have done so.

Like the other guy said, this is one of the few T handles with the center detent. This is the one you want.

This is the one. Has the middle detent. Has notch for the ends. Quality is great. Made the USA. The Wera and Gedore comes in matte chrome are good but they lack the detents. Info is stamped and not lasered or printed for longevity. Not the biggest fan of shiney chrome but it is good. 1/4” version is equally as nice.

Excellant sliding t-handle.made like the ones from years ago.center groove on bar to hold socket in the center.detents in head to hold socket when head is at the end so socket does not twist in use.just like snap on at a reduced price.
