Great value option for spiral binding
I was looking for an economical option for binding our homeschooling supplies. This product works great! You can easily punch 3 pages at a time, but it can handle 4-5 with a little effort. I like how this binding style can be added to or removed from. The only downfall to note is that the 30 holes do not fit standard American letter paper - only 29 do. I have found this easy to manage by lining up the edge of my paper with the edge of the last hole. This centers the remaining 29 holes well on the page. The spirals are easy to cut with a pair of scissors, so you can snip the extra ring off the end. Would recommend!!

Worked great but not for my purposes,
This is great for making the 30 holes, but it gets really hard to slide if you punch more than a few sheets at a time. You can only do paper, no other materials

Not the same as a ProClick but still cool
As a homeschool parent, I'm always interested in exploring various ways to bind our materials. I have and love the ProClick system and, although this one looks similar, I knew it was different and wanted to see if it'd be a good option to suggest to other homeschoolers since it is slightly cheaper. It is but there are some significant differences that I'll mention at the end. If you're not interested in any of that info, just know that this is a great binding option if you're looking for something that matches the fairly standard 30-hole Japanese style bindings. It's well made and, although it only does about 4-5 sheets of paper at a time, it does a great job of punching very clean holes that work perfectly with the 30-hole spines. It only comes with 3 spines so you will need to purchase more sooner rather than later. In relation to the ProClick, the main difference to note is that the ProClick makes 32 holes with a 3:1 pitch (3 holes per 1 inch) and this binding system does 30 holes which makes it a different pitch so the ProClick spines will not line up correctly and thus won't work with this binding machine. This set does come with 3 spines to get you started but when looking at getting additional spines for this system, I didn't find it to be as easy to find a good variety as it is with the ProClick since you can also use 3:1 pitch (and even 4:1 in many cases) plastic coils in addition to the ProClick spines. I tried the 3:1 coils with this system and didn't like the way it sat (it warps the paper) but that can be personal preference. Also, since this machine is set up for international sized papers and not US sizes, I didn't really like the way the spacing at the top and bottom worked out with Letter sized paper. Again, I can be nitpick-y and that's going to vary based on your own preferences. Overall, in my opinion, it's a definite yes if you're looking for a 30 hole system but it's not my favorite if you're looking to do something more US standard and I'd just go with a 3:1 or 4:1 system in that case.

Easy to use
I plan on making coloring books with this from my pdfs off etsy

I love the concept but it constantly punches uneven
This machine is constantly getting jammed or something causing it to punch the holes in a crooked line, would not recommend. I’ve wasted lots of paper.

Broke after two uses!
Do not waste your money. I bought two and they both broke.

I am SO glad I pulled the trigger on this hole puncher - punches Japanese holes to fit Kokuyo!
"Hand Push Binding Machine,30-Hole Book Binder Machine"I am IN LOVE with this hole puncher. It punches holes in the Japanese standard (such as 20 holes for an A5 and 26 holes for a B5, etc) and will make your paper fit perfectly into your Kokuyo or Maruman binders.Prior to getting this one, I was using the Carl hole punch that has the dumb flip-over thing and the other piece that you slide along it and can't risk losing, doing like 4 holes at a time. Ugh.This one lets you just slide in 4 sheets of paper, slip the handle across the top, and you're done. ALL the holes are done with one swipe. It's SO much faster, easier, and kinda fun with the sound it makes.Plus there's no anxiety that you might lose a part of it and not be able to punch holes until you find the dumb little thing. If you use the Japanese paper or binders like Kokuyo (and you should, their paper is *excellent*), this purchase is so, SO worth it.

Bought new, received USED
It was definitely a used / returned item. The box was taped back together and smashed in, there are some minor scratches on the item and i had to empty out the "tray" with punched holes, thinking of returning. I tried it, it seems to work fine, but definitely used.
