Was able to use my threadripper without underclocking
I live in a hot place and so far using water cooling, I had to underclock my threadripper 3960x so as not to overheat it. Not anymore. The inbuilt thermal paste is also good enough. Really silent, great product 10/10.Note: Wear a glove while mounting, the fins are sharp, I nicked my hand on it.

High quality workhorse
Noctua makes high quality coolers. This one is great for my i9 9900K. I am not a gamer so wasn't looking for consitent overclocking. However, this is a LARGE cooler so please check the compatibility with your mother board. It actually covered my x16 PCI slot, which was a bummer. I had to install the GPU in an x8 slot. I read articles online that the x8 slot doesn't have a significant penalty for the card I was looking for, so I let it go. On the Noctua website, you can find the compatible motherboards for this cooler.

Nice Cooler
While using intel's stupid stock cooler my intel i7 4790k get max to 90°C + (with stock speed 4 GHz and turbo boost 4.4GHz).Using Applications like cinema 4D, 3DS max, Rendering and insane games. After switching to Noctua NH U14s is super cool now, getting max to ~ 68°C at 100% load (with ambient temps 30°C+)I didn't use noctua's thermal paste, only used arctic silver 5 thermal compound.Overall it is a nice Air cooler.

Was intimidated by prospect of install but it's an awesome cooler (and not difficult to install).
If you are worried about complications during install just watch some Youtube videos, it is a lot simpler than it seems. But be careful some parts (like the metal harness are fragile) you need to be extra patient and careful doing the install. But the cooler is awesome it keeps very power hungry processors cool. And Noctua has a 5 year warranty on these (AFAIK). Seems like solid product and far less work/worry than water cooler.
