it is so much cheaper than buying the small brand name glass bottle at the store.the flavor is great, the thickness is normal and it closes very well.I personally think it is better than the tiny glass bottle in the store.(I kept the glass bottle and we refill it when we need to, my caregiver makes out of this world molasses cookies, to make them taste like store bought cookies, you double the molasses!)It will last me probally about 6-7 months, but the cost savings is a lot cheaper on social security or anyones budget that bakes with it often.

It's a strong flavor, but I like molasses... a lot! I have bread / cookie recipes that can take up to a cup of molasses, and the small bottles are too expensive to use freely. Since this is strong, I add honey to mellow it out. "Iron"... when my daughter donated blood, she would occasionally be rejected for low iron; she began taking my 'expensive' bottle of molasses to work with her and taking a few tablespoons before going to her appointment - no more 'low iron'! Molasses is good stuff, and I like this more robust flavor. (Some have suggested molasses w/ baking soda might affect cancer, but I've never tried it myself, I'm not a medical expert, I can't recommend it, but - I can give it to my old dogs in small doses without qualms.)

Use this for my gardening so required bulk. it's the best price per oz you can find on Amazon. However, for $27, it's still too EXPENSIVE, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Quality is great. It's heavy so a bit hard to pour if you're using it for flavoring. Need to add to a smaller container,

I’ve had this product for a good few months now. The smell and taste is great, no mold or any defects. The container itself also did not arrive with any defects (came packaged well), so 5/5 stars for shipping and handling.I don’t run a bakery or anything of that sort but I do bake plenty. Still, this container will last me for a good, and a long time. I can control how dark I want my brown sugar to be, and I can make lots of brown sugar for much less than what I get at the store per unit price.All in all, a good product. I also read all of the reviews, so I expected an issue here and there, but I’m pleased to report I had none.

It arrived in great condition. I am looking for a glass bottle to transfer it into, to get it out of the plastic. Tastes just like I expected. It's a lot, but I don't think it ever expires. I use it to mix with white sugar to create brown sugar, it's really delicious like this. Everyone likes my chocolate chip cookies, which are just the regular toll house recipe, and I think this is partly why.
