I purchased this clock because I had a similar one as a kid and always thought it was unique. I chose the version with the black tiles and white numbers and the walnut base. I wasn't sure it would meet my expectations, but it actually exceeded them. The factory packaging was very robust and the clock arrived in perfect condition. It was actually a little larger than I had imagined, which was actually a plus for me. I could find no issues with the fit and finish. The setup was quick and straightforward. It has been running for over a week now with no issues, and has kept perfect time so far. The only unknowns now will be longterm accuracy and lifespan. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this item to others. I couldn't find any reason to rate this less than 5 stars at this point.

I was nervous at first with everyone saying the numbers fall out but I haven’t had any issues with that. The numbers are easily readable and it’s been keeping time accurately. The sound is subtly and only every minute so it’s not the constant ticking like a normal clock. Overall I’m really glad I got this clock

I love this little clock! It looks great on our bookshelf. I like the "tick" that it makes as each minute passes. The only weird thing is that the hour number changes slow... three minutes after the hour changes to be exact. While the delayed hour change is strange, it does correct itself without intervention, so I can deal with it.

Clock is beautiful, but it runs slow and not accurate. It's only been 2 weeks since I opened it and it's already had to be reset 3 times.

I've seen Cool before but WOW !!!! Gotta Love this thing.. Just an Awesome looking mechanism . Keeps time within plus or minus 15sec per day which is pretty good...watching it work makes you wonder how they do it.. Very nice... if you order one don't forget to order your own D size battery, they don't come with one...

Writing this review a good year after purchase. Couldn't be happier with this clock. It works, it keeps quite good time, and was everything the seller claimed it would be. In the time I've had it, I've changed the D-cell battery once. about eight months in. It's completely silent except for a very subtle "pat" as a leaf falls down to reveal the next digit once a minute. Take a moment to fully read the directions before you set this up. Nothing complicated, but they clarify a couple of things that aren't immediately obvious. Glad I purchased it. Highly recommended if you like this style of clock.

We have really enjoyed the visuals of the flip clock. The numbers are bold and large making the clock visible from multiple rooms in the house. The clock makes a sound when the number flips, adding layer of charm to our home that is not a digital blue light screen.
