Firstly, after tax this watch came to $136 and for that price, I do not feel this watch is worth it. Some important things to note- this watch is automatic only, there is no hand winding. Unless you wear this watch everyday all day long, you will be constantly adjusting the time. 2nd, there is no hacking..which means you can not stop the movement. So not only can you not pull the crown to save the spring for the next morning, you will not be able to accurately set the time (if that’s important to you) Quality wise it does not feel like a near $150 watch and the lack of being able to wind it and stop the movement is huge for me. Lastly, it the day wheel has dual languages and because it does not instantly change days, it will display the day in a different language for a few hours until it changes over completely. Not a huge deal, but a cost saving measure that’s been passed on to us. Also, don’t change the day when the time is between 9pm and 4am otherwise you’ll break the watch. lol. Lastly the bracelet while looks decent, feels very light and cheap. Wasn’t really impressed with this watch. Will be returning it. My $50 watches from china are about on the same level as quality as this, and those are mechanical/automatic

This is an update to my earlier review. I sent my watch to Seiko for warranty repair and was told that it is out of warranty (I only had it a week) and that Seiko wants more to repair than the watch cost to start with. With this in mind, I have reduced the rating to one star. I really like this watch but as I have only had it a couple of days, I really can't logically rate it, but it is easy to read and seems to keep accurate time. I don't generally test the water resistance of any watch so that really doesn't matter to me though I assume that is does as advertised. My only complaint to date is the resizing. I had to find a video to show me how --- no instructions given in the manual. Then when I found out how to do so I found the process rather difficult to accomplish. Now that I have had the watch about a week, I find that I have an issue with it. It does not achieve the desired wind-up time and stops working after not wearing overnight. I am in touch with customer service and have been advised to return for servicing.

Don't get me wrong- this is another quality Seiko watch, but the other reviewers aren't kidding about its overall size. I don't have a large wrist by any means (approximately 6.5"), but this watch even manages to feel a little too small on my wrist. I think part of the problem is the shape of the case and the protruding bezel- it just doesn't have any presence with its compact, circular shape. The dial itself is very detailed and attractive, but again, too small to appreciate unless held closely to your face. I infinitely prefer another recent Seiko watch purchase, the Seiko SNK809, over the size and look of this watch. And while the stainless steel bracelet does give the watch a dressy/classy look, it does tend to lean toward the cheaper side regarding its actual quality. If I could do it over again, I would not buy this watch simply based on its size alone. I do not like the huge, gaudy watches that are in style these days, but this watch is just too puny.
