No Pre-freezing Ice Cream Machine, 1L Ice Cream Maker with Compressor, 3 in 1, with Measuring Cup/Scraper/Recipe, Homemade Ice Cream/Gelato

I bought this ice cream machine for my gelato-obsessed teenage daughter for Christmas. We made her first batch (Gianduja gelato) and I can honestly say that I'm blown away by the quality. The gelato is soft scoop when emerging from the machine but freezes up fully when left in the freezer. We couldn't wait and sampled some of it soft scoop and it was delicious. I did buy a really good gelato recipe book (Jacob Kennedy - Gelupo Gelato) along with quality ingredients and the results are insane. All made and frozen within the space of a few hours. Tonight we're making Fior Di Latte gelato to take to her friend's sleepover! Can't wait to sample it! This machine is great value for money and very easy to use. My daughter said it's her fave Christmas pressie ever!

Great to make ones' own ice cream...happy with it, except for the noise it makes. Each session takes approx 1 hour, so best located out of site ( in utility) if you do not like the noise.

Ice cream and sorbets in under 1 hour, almost a luxury. No fuss and easy to use, quicker than going to the shops or waiting for the Ice cream man. No pre freezing of anything. We make the easiest of ice creams, which don't freeze that well, so we have to eat it straight away. Not a problem when making the delicious yogurt recipe which comes with the machine. The ice cream is much nicer than shop bought, not so sweet and no preservatives or additives.

Very good good machine, especially for the price, 1.2 ltr capacity and easy to add extras such as nuts, chocolate chips, etc. Simple to operate and easy to clean, it runs for one hour maximum at a time and produces ice cream that is too soft to eat straight away. But an hour or two in a container in my deep freeze, firms it up. Probably not as versatile or quick as the market-leading 2 litre Cuisinart machine, but it's nearly a third of the price and I am happily making great ice cream.

Easy to use. Finishes while soft, just right for adding a ripple syrup. Caution: the arrow symbols on the side and top of the box appear to be contradictory. Just make sure the writing on the sides of the box can be read. The sketch on the front of the manual shows the lid locked in place correctly. It is possible to lock it in facing the other way round and then the motor doesn't connect!

Worked fine and making good , smooth ice cream till one day when stopped working. I only used it around 5 times. Good that Amazon accepted my return. Will purchase a more expensive but hopefully more reliable one as my son is a huge ice cream fan.

All good slightly slower than i had hoped but makes Ice Cream well
