Classic Parfum Spray
I have been a fan of Clinique Aromatics Elixir for years and decided to treat myself to the Parfum Spray. It's on the pricey side but it smells wonderful and lasts all day.

Chipre
I love it. Excellent fixation and the scent gently lingers on the skin. Keep in mind it’s a chipre scent, but not as strong as others - I love chipre perfumes. I love using a bit to go for my daily life. It’s sophisticated.

It’s my scent
I love Aromatics and I can’t imagine wearing anything else. Its formula has changed slightly since I started wearing this 30 years ago. It doesn’t last all day like it used to either, but it’s my signature scent and I wear it every day.

Too much
UPDATE: I put this fragrance away thinking I would give it to someone who would appreciate it and then forgot about it. I rediscovered it a few days ago and decided to try it again now that the weather is much colder. Yes, the animalic musks are strong but in the best way. Aromatics Elixir is a beautiful fragrance that has everything a good chypre should have: musk, moss, citrus, and patchouli. It's earthy and intense. I'm in love and am going to purchase a full sized bottle. This would be a beautiful fragrance but the civet is much too intense. My grandmother wore this in the 80s and I don't remember the civet being so overwhelming. Perhaps I'm just not used to synthetic civet and my brain is reading it as a threat. This is why people go scent blind to a fragrance. Once the brain determines the new perfume is not a threat, it no longer wastes energy on smelling(processing) the scent. I'm glad I only bought the travel size because this is going in the trash.

Not the same perfume
This isn’t the same Clinique Aromatics. They added something that makes it smell funky. The fragrance lasts about 2 to 3 hours at best. I’ve mixed it with jasmine perfume to soften that overbearing funky smell it now has. Such a shame too because this perfume was beautiful smelling once.

Der Parfum-Spray hält den ganzen Tag an und entfaltet sich in Schichten aus Kamille, Rose und Patchouli . Ich finde diesen Duft faszinierend und es ist einer meiner Lieblingsparfüms. Er riecht edel und einzigartig, ohne süßlich zu sein, und passt hervorragend zur kalten Jahreszeit, selbstverständlich aber auch übers ganze Jahr ☺️🙃
