My five-year-old grandson loves the scooter. The colored lights were a real selling point. The height adjustment is a must as he’s a growing boy. The quality seems very sturdy although the footboard seems short, but seems to work well for him. This is a replacement for his old scooter, which he rode to death.

I purchased this scooter for my 8-year-old nephew, who is actually on the smaller side for his age, and I was extremely disappointed. The handlebars barely reached his waist, making it completely unusable for him. To make matters worse, his 3-year-old sister ended up taking it and riding it comfortably which says a lot about the true size of this scooter.This product is definitely not for children 5 and up as advertised. It’s more appropriate for toddlers, around ages 2 to 4 of average size. I wish the description had been more accurate. Save your money if you’re shopping for an older child.
