This particular vtx doesn’t appear to work with the build I’d intended.i planned on using it as a high power analog image system but it appears to be compatible with hd systems. I may be able to use it in the future with another set up but should’ve researched more before buying.

Works, I dunno about it being a real 2.5w but its cheap. No built in mic, runs smart audio 2.1. This doesn't support irc tramp. The protocol is smart audio. Every place selling this item states its irc. Fix your information if your selling products with improper information!!!!!

On 2.5W trees even buildings get penetrated… keep on low power until first arm or it’ll die with no airflow! Conflicting data as far as the protocol goes, it runs (SA2.1) smart audio not IRC Tramp like the hglrc website Says. I’ll buy one for every analog quad I got that has the room to fit it! it makes 800 mw and 1600mw seem like a joke! Please don’t buy them all up, leave a few for the rest of us lol. I leave this comment after having 4 so I feel informed enough to have an opinion… happy flying 5 stars

this vtx is amazing for the price ,the vtx penetration is very good ,range is crazy long A VERY GOOD VTX i’ll probably get one for each of my long range drones

This is a pretty powerful but compact vtx. It's easy to use and the settings can be changed via smart audio. It works great on my fpv wing. It doesn't get too hot and the picture quality is pretty good. It does pick up a fair amount of motor noise but I'm thinking that may be more of my setup. It has lots of power for a little price.
