I bought this to repair a #5 nylon coil zipper. The new slider went on very easily (with no help from the non-existent instructions--you have to go online for that) but it was just enough too big to close the coil. My nice jacket wound up in the rag-bag. But at least the company was good about giving me a refund for their pricey one-zipper repair kit.

I could not believe how easy it was to repair my husbands jacket with this zipper replacement slide. I did watch a video after googling Dritz Zipper replacement. It took about 2-3 min. and a pliers and whoo-alla--like a new jacket. It was so easy that I order another one and I had my young granddaughter bring over her favorite winter coat that had a broken zipper and she was amazed at how quick and easy I was able to fix it. I have been telling friends and family all about it. No more throwing things out because of broken zipper!

I lost the slide on my bicycle basket. The basket was in great condition and I just didn't want to buy a new one. I bought this Dritz zipper slider kit and I don't think it took me more than a minute to insert the replacement zipper slide. I can't believe how easy it was and the tool it comes with was very helpful to the process. The slide itself seems very sturdy. Very happy with this purchase and the repair.

My son broke the zipper on an otherwise perfectly good coat. So I tried this to fix it. It works! Although he does complain that it's harder to zip up now... It is stiffer but may relax with usage?

Broken zipper on pet bed, found this product. Worked great for me. Not quick, but patience worked.Sturdier than original zipper pull. Glad I found this instead of having to replace the zipper.

Installation was very easy. A little difficult to open up the hinge. Once I released the lock, I had to use a small electronics screwdriver to pry it open. After installing it, I noticed that the zipper slide was at a slight angle to the zipper track. It runs at an angle on the zipper because the center divider is very thick (due to the hinge). See images mid zipper and at bottom of the zipper. It binds as you slide the zipper slide making it difficult to move the slide. It needs to be a touch wider to slide more freely. I will continue to look further for a proper slide for my vintage Under Armour jacket.

Great product. I measured 5+ millimeters when I tried to put the zipper teeth together and assumed it would fit size 5. Googled instructions and installed in under 2 minutes! Glad I purchased.

I had received the product with the slight delay. Yet, once I opened it, I could see it is a good zipper. It would most likely work on any common size 5 coil zipper, yet mine was quite uncommon. Therefore, I didn't manage to use it, yet. I am quite sure one of the other zippers will go bad soon. Nonetheless, once you have it on your hands, you'll see it is a quality driven little zipper. Would recommend ...

Waited weeks for this, Complete waste of time & money, broke within five minutes of fitting, utter Rubbish dont waste your money
