It is amazing little thing what makes a difference! My tv get better color and contrast and music sounds more relaxing and soft.

Part of an upgrade to my streaming system (that included all CAT 8 cabling). Removed some glassiness in the top octaves. Overall sound now more relaxed and analog.

I was skeptical about this one, but decided to try it. I used it on the iFi zen streamer, a unit I was already happy with (I'd added an external linear power supply and was already running its USB output through a DDC) - so I expected I'd pack it up and return it ... but when I first heard a difference, it warranted many listening sessions. As great as the sound already was, there was what felt like an added dimension of clarity, and that was enough to keep it. For me it's a relatively small price for the improvement.

I installed it between my router and streaming tv. It not only improved the audio quality but also the picture. I compared to wifi only connection and this one won out. Great product. I powered it by the ifi 5v noise cancelling power supply.

This device is built well and easy to connect and get inline. I purchased it for use with local LAN audio streaming. I wanted it to work and lower the noise floor or improve overall sound. I have very good power, and great audio hardware so I was unable to hear any difference. I tested sound on many albums across 2-3 days and just couldn't hear any added benefit so I returned the item. I do believe other hardware would benefit from this solution - in my case I was willing to keep and use it but the benefit wasn't there to justify the cost.

I installed this and then all I would hear is a weird loud crackling noise no matter what I would play. It sounded like dinosaurs were fighting!

I could hear the different and it sound very good, but it only lasted 2 months and died. Not sure if I want to repurchase it again. I guess if it last past 4 months your good to go. That was the rule for electronics.

I can't believe how good it is! I came across this gizmo while looking for something else and thought "WTF is this? Sounds idiotic". But then I saw the super positive comments and ifi insists they refund if you don't like it. "Well, let’s take their word for it," and I ordered. I didn't need 10' to be fully convinced. The gain in sound quality was so surprising that I thought I was fooling myself. I disconnected and reconnected the gizmo several times. No : it's real. Very subtle and pleasant. At last my expensive streamer sounds as it should!

Vor einigen Wochen habe ich zufällig gelesen, dass die Fritzbox 7590 klanglich von einem besseren Netzteil profitiert. Also habe ich probeweise das ifi iPower Elite Low Noise Power Supply in der 12V Variante bestellt. Der Effekt war definitiv hörbar, nicht dramatisch besser, aber deutlich nachvollziehbar. Von diesem Ergebnis motiviert, habe ich im nächsten Schritt die Stromleisten gewechselt und die LAN-Kabel ausgetauscht (Tipp: CSL Primewire, günstig und gute Schirmung von Stecker und Kabel). Insgesamt fehlte dem Klang beim Streaming aber noch immer die harmonische Präsentation der Vinyl Wiedergabe. Also habe ich den ifi LAN iPurifier Pro in der Hoffnung bestellt, den entscheidenden Schritt zur Optimierung der digitalen Signalübertragung zu vollziehen. Und genau das hat diese kleine Metall-Box bewirkt. Ich habe die Installation zwischen LAN-Kabel vom Router und meinem Streamer vorgenommen (kein zwischengeschalteter Switch). Der Effekt ist klanglich bemerkenswert! Gezupfte Bass-Läufe gewinnen deutlich an Substanz, Gesangsstimmen lösen sich transparent von der Instrumentierung und verlieren jede Form der Schärfe. Es sind zudem kleine Sound-Effekte zu hören, die bislang für mich klanglich untergegangen sind. Die gesamte musikalische Darstellung wirkt homogener und nicht einfach nur analytisch, obwohl mehr Details offengelegt werden. Ich empfehle Testern die Bill Evans Live-Aufnahme "Waltz for Debby" in HiRes. Dieses Album von 1961 wurde im Village Vanguard aufgenommen und die Live-Atmosphäre wird durch durchgängige Laute des Publikums begleitet. Bislang war dies ein überladener Klang-Teppich, jetzt hört man deutlich das Anstoßen von Gläsern, kurze Gesprächsfetzen – faszinierend! Auch die verschiedenen digitalen Filter Einstellungen meines TEAC NT-505 X fördern auf einmal die unterschiedlichen Klangsignaturen zu Tage, die ich zuvor kaum heraushören konnte. Drei Beobachtungen möchte ich noch teilen. Die hier beschriebenen klanglichen Effekte sind auch durch das mitgelieferte blaue LAN Kabel beeinflusst. Ich habe dieses versuchshalber mit einem 50 cm langen CSL Primewire Netzwerkkabel ersetzt. Dieses Kabel veränderte das Klangbild noch einmal in eine etwas andere Klangsignatur, die mir aber nicht so gut gefiel. Ich habe zudem auch das kleine ifi iPower2 Netzteil 5V ausprobiert. Hiervon möchte ich abraten. Es nahm dem Klang viel seiner Transparenz. Das USB-C Netzteil eines alten Google Pixel Smartphones reicht völlig – anders gesagt, viel hilft nicht immer viel. Und zu guter Letzt, die kleine Metallkiste wird etwas mehr als nur „Hand warm“. Dies sollte man bei der Aufstellung berücksichtigen. Ich verstehe jeden Zweifler, der davon überzeugt ist, dass digitale Signale grundsätzlich nur aus Einsen und Nullen bestehen. Aber eine Reduzierung von Rauschen im Netzwerk oder eine Jitter-Optimierung für Laufzeit-korrekte Informationsbereitstellung der Bits und Bytes sind für mich durchaus valide Ansatzpunkte, um negative Einflüsse auf den Klang zu reduzieren bzw. zu eliminieren. Die klanglichen Effekte eines ifi LAN iPurifier Pro fallen somit um so geringer aus, desto weniger Störeinflüsse durch Halogenlampen, minderwertige Schaltnetzteile, WLAN, Zigbee-Hub, Bluetooth Konnektivität und weitere elektrische Verbraucher wie Kühlschränke oder Waschmaschinen im genutzten Strom Kreislauf vorhanden sind. Hier hilft leider nur ausprobieren.

La noche y el dia. Temeroso de que fuese snake oil puro y duro tengo que reconocer que funciona. No es algo sutil, tranquilo. Vuelve el streaming a otra dimensión. Es como si se quitara un velo de seda que antes estuviese colocado delante del escenario y todo fuese más claro. La separación de los instrumentos (prueba a/b) es muy evidente. Todo más definido. Puede parecer que incrementa los agudos (al incrementar los detalles) pero no es realmente eso. Da una sensación de realidad añadida sin resquicios digitales. En un piano he escuchado roces de los pedales que antes NO se escuchaban (repito prueba a/b). Las voces más enfocadas y la distribución de instrumentos perfectamente definida. La prueba definitiva es la siguiente: escucha un disco completo en streaming sin interrupciones y a continuación vuélvelo a escuchar sin el la purifier. Ahí es donde vas a empezar a aplaudir. Escuchar para creer. No, no es aceite de serpiente y te lo dice un descreído

I have a reasonably nice Hifi. Costing towards the £5000+ mark so far. I stream ALL my music from Qobuz. And I was completely happy with the sound. I simply thought I’d give this product a try and return if it made no difference. It did make a difference and I kept it. It’s subtle but the soundstage is a bit wider. The instrument separation and placement is slightly more defined. The sound is just a little more airy and relaxed. So it does work. It’s not snake oil or placebo. If your Hifi is resolving and of a decent quality I do recommend giving this galvanic isolation product a try.

Catena acustica : Dynaudio Focus 50 con Qobuz . La pulizia della scena ne ha beneficiato oltre le aspettative , evidentemente la linea LAN portava in seno molta sporcizia. Sull onda entusiasta ho ordinato l alimentatore e il silincer sempre IFI , che arriveranno oggi . Confido in ulteriori miglioramenti . Anni che cercavo la messa a punto in posti sbagliati . Caldeggio.. @ resto scettico sull affidabilità nel lungo termine
