This is a well-made adapter that does exactly what I needed it to do. My coffee maker has a black cord and the plug sticks straight out from the matte white outlet that's set against my white tile backsplash. While I couldn't change the color of the cord, this compact, high-quality adapter allows me to plug the cord from the bottom so it runs flat down the wall...which is a far more discreet and visually pleasing than plugging the coffee maker directly into the outlet and also allows me to have the appliance sit closer to the wall. I just acquired a new Nespresso machine that will sit next to my coffee maker so just returned to Amazon to order the two outlet down version. I'll post a review of the new version with a photo once it arrives and is installed. To sum up, this adapter is so much more well-designed and executed than your standard, cheap hardware store adapter. It's visually pleasing, made of quality materials, and well worth the price when you don't have the option to hide an unsightly cord or outlet.

Simple solution to an aggravating problem! I had a security camera plugged in to the wall of a common room at the church, and it kept getting knocked out of the power outlet because of the way the plug stood out from the outlet. This 90 degree right angle adapter allowed me to re-orient the power plug such that it does not get bumped by people and/or chairs in the room. A very good, simple solution to my problem!

PERFECT! Used in outdoor plug with weather cover and it allowed me to put smart plug on and close the plug cover! You lose one outlet doing this but worth it

Works, what more can a simple device do?

I bought this for my thick microwave oven power cord that sticks out from the wall outlet obtrusively. This adapter makes it hug the backsplash wall. I spray painted the cord to match the backsplash tile color to further hide it.

while this is a bit larger than I'd hoped, its a brick. hardened rubberized brick. very well made. I could put in a sock and beat someone to death with it. will recommend
