Bought these for our new master bath. It works like a charm. The amount of hair and other nasty stuff it catches is surprising. I know these are disposable but we try and clean and reuse them a few times before tossing. Will definitely buy more when these run out.

I even bought this for my parents home. ALL of my bathrooms have this! It’s very easy to install and definitely worth every penny. My daughter and I shed our hair like crazy, and this thing has saved my plumbing!!!!Love it!

Didn't fit mine because I have a screw drain cap, so don't buy if you have the screw on shower drains. If I didn't have the screw type, this would have been perfect. Didn't feel like returning, so I pinched the basket past the screws and the basket sits good without falling deep into drain, then screwed in cover. For now, I'll use the baskets since they come out easily with care.

Catches hair and looks great in the shower

Great product, fits shower pan and stays put. The design is exactly correct for the size we needed. Returned others because they wouldn’t fit in the recessed area around the drain this product drops in perfectly.

We just remodeled our bathrooms and one now has a Kohler acrylic shower pan. The installation include a matte black metal Moen drain cover which looked nice, but the large holes allowed hair to pass through fairly easily. The Danco unit looks almost as good and catches the hair, so there's no need to fish it out of the drain. While the outer part snaps in, the inner part that holds the basket just sits in the middle. That said, it doesn't seem to move around when we use it. To clean, you put your fingers on either side of the center rib and lift upwards and the middle of the drain comes out with the basket attached. To get to what's inside of the basket, you have to sort of snap it sideways using a bit of force, away from the cover plate. I think it would be a better design if the center portion threaded into the outer portion of the cover (or used a bayonet connection) and if the basket threaded onto the part that lifts out. Then everything would be tight, yet easy to undo for cleaning. Undoubtedly, it would be more expensive that way, but I think the improvement would be worth it. Despite the mechanical shortcoming, I'm still extremely pleased with my purchase and would happily by another, if needed.

This has really helped eliminate hair getting stuck in the drain and living in Florida it has kept anything from being able to come up through the drain!

The product is a very nice one however its not designed for older shower stalls with standard bathtub and sink sizes from the 90's. To make it work you have to improvise a little. The top fits the shower base without the baskets and leaves a small bit of the round shower flange exposed at all four sides that allows all the water to drain from my Maxx glass shower stall. We couldn't re-pipe because its a finished basement and concrete floor so I can't use the baskets, but I do have a small hair catcher that was for the old sink that will fit in the shower drain and it will be easy to get to with the middle opening on this drain cap. I like it and its the best Ive found that lets the water drain well, Ive tried many things because the original is too thick and a little ill fitting that lets water sit and goes moldy and I refuse to use it.Thank you Danco for my almost perfect answer

Me parece bueno. Si atrapa mucho cabello. Mi único pero es más relacionado a la entrada del desague. Embona tan perfecto que se tapa y llena de agua la regadera con un poco de cabello acumulado. Le hice un agujero, se va algo de cabello pero es mas el que se queda atrapado y ya no se tapa por completo. Creo que podría tener un mejor diseño para que no embone tan perfecto en el desague pero siga atrapando cabello
