VFM & Effective Air Cooler that cools a big hall too
I am using this cooler for past 2 days and these are my observations. I live in Bangalore and here climate is dry 1. Cooling is very effective and is able to cool our hall, dining and kitchen. It is a 2 bhk apartment. 2. 88 lit tank capacity and it has a nozzle to attach hose to a tap for filling. There is a valve which closes automatically once the tank is full. I find this very useful. Prevents water spillage and we don,t need to monitor the water filling part. It also comes handy for very long hours of usage where a hose can be attached permanently. As water level goes down topping up will happen automatically. 3. Cooling pads are of high density and water flow seems to be uniform that pads are almost completely soaked in water. 4. The fan is very powerful that we are using minimum speed only 5. Noise is there but with such a powerful fan this is expected. 6. Cleaning should be easy as they have provided screws at the back to remove the cooling pads for cleaning purpose. 7. It is a no frills cooler. No remote, touch screen etc. but just 2 knobs to adjust fan speed, Swing (air flow direction change), water flow ON/OFF. 8. It is a desert cooler and best for dry areas. Yet to see the reliability of the cooler as I have just experienced it for 2 days.

Workhorse. Leave it on for days, and it keeps running.
It is a proper workhorse. I have been using it for little over three years. I thought I wrote a review earlier, but since I haven't and I am going to buy a second one, I thought I should. What you need to know: 1. It is pretty rugged - except that water filling flip cap - that broke - well, I did let a 20-litre water bubble slip from my hand and it landed on the flap, but it broke nonetheless. 2. You can leave it on and forget about it, except for filling up the tank - if you are able to connect a hose behind, perfect - you don't need to bother about that either. 3. The water inlet pipe is weird - i wish they gave it a normal half inch thread so normal pipes can screw in - but no. That's a bother. Well, it's a nice little exercise carrying 5-litre bottles and pouring them in. It's 75 litres, so it will take a few trips (more than 15 although math would say it's 15 times 5 litres) 4. The little plug at the bottom is a pain if you lose it. I'd find a way to tie a thread to it and fasten it to the cooler body. I misplaced it a few times and it was absolute hell trying to find it - it's minuscule and white. 5. It'll happily run on an inverter, being just 190 watts. 6. Use it at low speed for better cooling. The ice chamber is too small to be of any use. 7. The wire is surprisingly short for a cooler of its size. If I were able to, I would put a 3 to 5 metre wire for good measure. 8. The casters are not exactly great, but they're not "designed" for moving the cooler with the tank full - that's stupid if you ask me, but then again. The locking system is also pretty flimsy - it broke within the first year and a half - no complaints, really, but it's a point to note. There really isn't any replacement that will actually fit the screws - you may have to take them out and fabricate a stand with proper 4" casters. 9. It is heavy - weighs little over 15 kilos empty, and 90+ when full. IT IS NOT EASY TO MOVE! 10. If you use tap water, you'll find the typical musty swamp smell after a few days of use. Don't bother with anything fancy - dump some floor cleaner concentrate in it. That usually takes care of it. Also, you will need to add a descaler once in a while. Ideally, empty the water, pour some Harpic onto the bottom and brush the dirt and grime, rinse a few times, and then fill it half, add descaler, and let the pump run for a few hours, drain it, and rinse again before using. Doing this will prevent the little holes that deliver the water to the different regions of the wet pads from clogging up - if they do, it's a pain to clean them even with a descaler.

Pathetic product and service!!!
Was excited to purchase this but very similar to few people's comments here, even my motor stopped working after a few days without even me realising it. And after almost a month when it seems a bit fishy cz it was throwing hot Air, I thought of checking it and yes, the motor is working but there is no water supply to the honeycomb pads. Also, I noticed a piece of those strings fallen into the water inside the tank which means that it might have fallen from some or the other part inside.. I have sent a service request, hoping to hear back soon. But I am disappointed with the fact that it's a brand new product and it's not just me who is facing this issue. Is this the reason of just 10 days replacement? I will still prefer to just return it after all this chaos and disappointment. Getting a new product and then servicing it in the very first month is quite unexpected. I think it would have been better to have purchased it from the offline store. UPDATE - The guy came and said that the pipe was not attached to the motor and there were 2 fittings (screw like thing) which were just lying inside the cooler, hence, there was no waterflow. For one of the screw-like thing, he said that it's not a part of the cooler. I wonder from where is it then and why is it inside the cooler then!!! He advised not to order such appliances online to avoid damages while in transit. I expected that the issue was resolved. However, just after 6 days, the water flow stopped again and thee same guy was assigned to visit and check wherein he said that the pipe came off again. When I inquired about it, he said that he didn't use the screw-like thing for it's fitting, he just pushed and connected the pipe with the motor (without any support). The response was so unexpected as he is the person who should do it in the very first go and not wait for the ultime next time. However, he fitted it in and we were good to go (22nd April) Now again (11th May) , the water flow has stopped, we are assuming that the pipe might have come off again. I reached out to the same person directly this time, he mentioned that he will have to get it fit again inside the motor. I investigated as this was already done the last time to which he answered that the hook (screw-like thing) was loose. And he can't come today/tomorrow but directly on Saturday. I am so pissed off and I would love to return the damn product. This is the 4th time in less than 2 months. How pathetic is the service guy who knew that the hook was loose and still chose to not do anything about it!!! It's such a pathetic experience to keep on doing this after every 2 weeks. Purchasing a complete new product and watching the service guy removing multiple parts off from the cooler is so disappointing, not just once.. It's just a continuous process now in this scorching heat. This is complete disappointment!

Stopped working in just 1.5 month
It's good, air throw is good but the thing is I don't know why after 1 month it's now stop working after few hours, I switched off and after 2-3 hours it's start again. 75 l cooler I didn't expect this. I had a bajaj 23l cooler work 24*7 for whole summer and never stop working. The second thing is their louvers are too wide and doesn't moveable or doesn't close . Let me share few pics so when u don't use it , it's a big g concern. Material is good. It's easily move cause of wheels. Water is not leaking although ice box is seems useless. Value for money? I don't think so I think in 10k price I could choose a better option. It's good for small room, it will make that chill but yes u need to keep that somewhere it can get outside air. And if water tank is half it will sound like a rain. I like rainy sound so I'm fine with that.

Its a great product.
Best fan speed, best air throw. Highly moveable, and easy to use. I think its on the bit expensive side but no regrets.

Budget AC
This air-cooler can be filled up with 70 litres of water, has a ice tray, the 2 regulating knobs are "speed control" and "louver + water control"; the "speed control" knob starts with the fast, medium and slow settings; "the louver + water control" knob starts with water, water + louver, louver. The equipment comes with the absolutely necessary castor wheels needed to move this 14+70 kg beast across the floor. I bought this in May-2022 for ~₹9.5K, writing this review as of Aug-2022. The wet dog smell for the first few weeks is normal for the usage, it'll go away. This is due to the Honeycomb pads. I recommend pouring in a cap of lavender Dettol to mask that wet dog smell for a while. What all was good: • During the hot and humid season in Chennai, this equipment was able to reduce the temperature in the flow direction to 5°C lesser than the actual temperature of 35°C; (I was able to verify this using a industrial grade infrared thermometer). • The filled water lasts up to 2.5 days with normal usage as you use ceiling fan. • For best performance, I found that having it placed near open windows with a foot of space clearance around the equipment (if you are placing by a wall). Otherwise we are circulating the same-already humidified air to even more saturated air. • The castor wheels have a easy flip-lock, so that the beast doesn't move on its own while operating. • Dismantling the honeycomb pads for cleaning is easy with just hand-tight-able screws at the back. • The power consumption is almost the same as running a ceiling fan. • The Air throw and air delivery of this is very good for a large room or even the hall. What could have been better: • The 4 foot length power cable is the most annoying, it is too short to be practical, you have to buy a extension box (rated 16amps) to operate this thing in a room with just one socket far away. • The ice tray is useless, upon disassembly of this equipment I found out that the ice tray is just a drip line to the bottom water tank, this makes the ice tray not even worth the attempt putting the ice cubes in. If the ice tray were to drip over the honeycomb pads that would make it worthwhile. • Noise: Yeah, it's loud! I mean it would take some time to get adjusted to the noise it makes. My measurements are as follows: Slow=80dB, Medium=83dB, Fast=85dB; Slow+Water+Louver=82dB, Medium+Water+Louver=84dB, High+Water+Louver=86dB. For fiducial comparison, your ceiling fan would generate around 55dB on full speed. Get ready to sleep in a rain forest with that water dripping sound :D • I never used the auto-fill feature, can't say much about it, although it seems to have a float valve to cut off the water when there is enough level, I think this can fail and go pretty bad in a household environment. • On receiving first, always verify if the motor and water pump work, the pump particularly didn't work for 2 of my first purchases, the only last one I bought worked. We shouldn't buy an air cooler with a defective pump, then that is just a glorified table fan. Comparing to the noise, maintenance and power, if you do have money to spend on an actual AC (Air Conditioner) go for it, these days the AC doesn't even consume that much power; If AC feels like a costly investment, I recommend this budget AC (Air Cooler). Update: This is 11-Apr-2024 I see some screws rust inside, some salt sediments due to the water quality available to me... But overall it is still working well... no issues.
