First off: These are made of MDF and not real wood or plastic. As such you'll want to keep them out of wet or very humid locations - the MDF will soak up the water, expand and bubble, which will spoil the laminate coating and dramatically weaken them. As long as you have a nice dry location and you're fine with the laminate look then these will be perfect.The construction appears to be of good quality. The panels themselves are hollow-core MDF (a thin sheet for all the sides) with a laminate coating. The laminate quality is decent - it's not going to fool anyone up close into thinking it's real wood, but it's a fraction of the cost and will last for years without any issues as long as you don't abuse it. Note that you will not be able to refinish these (other than painting) since it's just a laminate.There is a metal wall bracket and it seems to also been sturdy. They're rated for 30lb and I suspect the MDF will fail or the screws come out of the drywall before the wall bracket fails.It comes with some decent-length screws and some large screw-in drywall anchors (not the little cheap non-screw versions a lot of things come with). The directions do mention trying to attach one of the screws to a stud if you can, since it'll greatly increase stability and durability of the shelf. For brick surfaces you'll probably need special screws, but the included ones will work for solid wood surfaces too (and probably be more durable than via drywall).The metal bracket does tilt up on one side (you can kinda see it in one of the pictures), so make sure you follow the arrow for which way to mount it (arrow goes up). After screwing on the bracket you just slide the shelf over it and attach the retaining screws on the bottom (which are mainly to ensure the shelf doesn't slide off the bracket).So far these are working well and seem to hold anything I put on them quite well. I'll update later if there are any issues.

These shelves are very stylish and have a very elegant appearance with invisible mounting brackets. The shelves are made of a decent quality MDF material with a veneer glued on it, which seems to be par for the coarse for these types of shelves. The brackets go just a bit less than half way into the shelf and the kit comes with heavy duty wall anchors so the overall weight that these can support is probably not too high. I would stick to light items to be placed on these shelves like pictures frames and not put too much weight as they will probably start to sag. I only took one star off just because I wish the material was a little higher quality but overall I am pleased with these shelves.

These invisible bracket shelves are a fantastic addition to any room! I'm keeping these on the blank wall in the basement for decor pieces. Once the bracket is secured, you just slide the shelf over it and fix with the rest of the screws. So far, so good! These shelves are working well and aesthetically pleasing. Reminds me of the ikea shelves. Highly recommend for interior decor shelving.

I found out after hanging these shelves that they are slightly less than 12x12 inches. I placed a 12x12 carpet tile on top of them and there is a tiny bit of overhang.I did not use the mounting screws given. I used wall anchors for a more secure fit. The bars that you slide the shelf onto were secured tightly to the wall with absolutely no wiggle. I noticed that they have a very slight angle upwards coming from the wall. So, when I put the shelf on, I could see a gap between the bottom and the wall. But, when I put objects on top of the shelf, it flattened out. That is something I didn't like much. The shelf has wiggle to it. It isn't as sturdy as I hoped. It isn't going to come off the wall. It isn't going to sag down. It just wiggles. So, when planes fly over (which happens often here), everything on the shelf shakes.For a weight check, my cat just had to hop onto the shelf. He weighs at least 15 pounds and the shelf held him without trouble. Note: These are not marketed as cat shelves.

If you like to visualize before you place, these shelves are great. They arrive with each shelf shrink wrapped, with the bracket and hardware inside the shelf. You can hold up the shelf to see if it looks right where you planned, or use two and store one for later. No worries :)For me, I thought I would like them staggered on either side a round mirror, and then realized the 8x8 square really does stick out. I moved them instead to a spot where I will mostly see it looking straight on. They are great looking :) Recommend.

These floating shelves are nice and sturdy and come with good mounting hardware. They were super easy to install and are aesthetically pleasing.

Shelves are heavy to touch, but once you mount them you cannot place anything on them too heavy great for lightweight items only. Good quality material just wish they were able to hold a little more weight. Easy assembly and looks great overall
