Anker is a known and trusted brand in my opinion. When I saw this “power station” while looking for a good multi USB charger I immediately took interest because it was an Anker product.Upon receiving it, I began to really see the use cases and various applications I could utilize it for.The actual AC wall plug is a bit bulky and larger than I anticipated but does correlate to the 240W charging capabilities.The ability to detach the (bulky) wall-plug portion is very handy as I will be using this as a travel charger for work. To many times I have been in a hotel and wishing I had a short extension cord to be able to plug multiple things in closer to the bed or desk. This solves THAT, plus the hassle of having to carry multiple power bricks for the multitude of devices that I carry and use daily!What’s even better is that this power station will automatically throttle power based on the device that is being charged!!Need a high watt charge for an iPad? DONE!Need a lower watt charge for a mouse or keyboard? DONEI highly recommend downloading the Anker mobile App!! It uses WiFi and/or Bluetooth to connect to your phone wirelessly for added functionality and features. In addition to monitoring real-time power usage, you can set timers (like sleep timers) for each USB port AND THE AC power outlets as well! There is a lot of other information and additional features within the app that make using the power station even more practical! (Pro-tip: you can even turn the display off!)As with every Anker product, it is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the products is (in my experience) always very high!I wish there was an option/setting to make the screen automatically scroll through the three information screens so that you can monitor everything without having to press the button or use the app.So far I am really impressed with this product, and I have already recommended it to a friend who is a commercial airline pilot that travels a lot and he has already ordered one!!I will update this review as I use it more, but extremely happy with it so far!!

I use this to power most of my electronics....especially my cellphones and tablets. It has a nice little screen on it that i use to display the time. It automatically recognizes my device and knows how much charge to give it and I can see it charging my devices in real time with the app. I love how the regular power outlet can be turned on or off via the button on the charger or through the app. When not being use it lays flat but pops up when you plug something in. Overall a great smart charger. I love it!

I’ve had the Anker Prime Charging Station 240W since last year, and it’s been fantastic! I don’t use it at home every day, but it’s my go-to for traveling—whether I’m staying at a friend’s house, a hotel, or an Airbnb.Many places I visit don’t have enough outlets, or they only have old, unreliable USB-A ports. That’s why I got this charging station—and wow, it’s a game changer! With just one wall plug, I get 6 USB ports and 2 AC outlets, all working perfectly. I can charge my phone, MacBook, iPad, and even use the extra outlets for other devices with zero issues.Hotel lamps and outlets are often weak or in awkward spots, but this station plugs straight into the wall and delivers powerful, reliable charging every time. It truly makes my travel experience so much easier and stress-free.Note: it’s not cruise-approved since it has surge protection, but that’s no problem—I just bring my Anker 140W charger with USB ports for cruises. For everywhere else, the power station is absolutely perfect.I’ve been using it for several months now and never had a single issue. Highly recommended for any frequent traveler!

This is an awesome charger. I love that IThis is an awesome charger. I love that I can charge for USB-C devices at the same time. It also has two USB ports and then two AC outlets on the top which are really nice. The app is really awesome too where you can do firmware updates, you could turn on and off ports, and you could set it on a timer where you could schedule ports to turn on and off at certain times. I really love this charger. Yes the power brick is pretty large, but it’s on the floor connected to my surge protector so it’s not a big deal.

I've been a fan of Anker for years, as can be observed in my drawer full of previously state-of-the-art Anker USB chargers and charging stations. Anker's latest, sexiest charger, the Anker Prime Charging Station, is the latest, coolest new kid on the block. Its features and functionality are second to none.I use Anker chargers mostly for travel, and plan to use the Anker Prime to replace my (8 ounce) Anker 747 Charger purchased two years ago (like I said, I have a USB charger obsession). While the 747 was nice 'n portable, with a folding two-prong AC adapter and four USB ports, the Anker Prime is at least twice as capable, supplying 4 USB-C, 2 USB-A, and even two AC outlets, allowing me to replace the AC power strip I usually carry. And for those uber-nerds like me, the fact that the Anker Prime supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi power monitoring is a plus.The only word of caution for fellow road warriors is the size and weight of the supplied power adapter. Weighing in at 21 ounces (0.6 kilograms) — yes, over a pound — the power "brick" outweighs and outsizes the actual charging station by at least 2x. Due to the size and extra weight in my laptop bag, I almost returned the unit, but because of the features and capabilities of the Anker Prime, coupled with some rough math about subtracting the weight of my power strip, I decided to keep it.I really like the new charging station, and as long as my shoulder doesn't give out from carrying it, I am pleased with my purchase.

Didn’t know if I wanted to spend this much on a charger but man am I glad I did! Makes like around the conference table so much easier!
