Given some of the mixed reviews, we were concerned as to how functional this spray gun would be. We have a commercial tanning machine at home which is terrific for home use but requires a set-up and a time-consuming cleaning process. While intended to use for only our traveling purposes, this Ion Tan Spray Machine proved to be worth every penny. No leaks, even spray, decent battery life, and terrific fan after the spraying is done! We have used the Ion Tan through two fitness shows and 8 sprays. The battery lasts for 2 sprays, but to be safe, I throw it on the charger after each spray. The machine is easy to use without the cumbersome hose to navigate with. The lower power setting works just fine to spray the tan on and we use the higher power setting to use the fan to help with drying the tan. This machine has eliminated the stress of having to sponge the spray tan on whenever we travel. We have not experienced any leaks and the machine has been really easy to clean.

Hands down the best spray gun I used (and I used the newer metal ones)...I love that you can sit this on a counter without it tipping over like some guns and cups are bc the handles are usually shorter than the cups. I also LOVE the ease of being able to move the gun in any direction while spraying and NOT having to worry about a hose touching where I just sprayed. Love this and definitely recommend!!

This sprayer is complete crap. Mine leaks all over your hand and stains your fingers. The liquid just pours out the top of it. Doesn’t spray good either. Def not worth the money. If I hadn’t waited so long to use it , it would def be returned.

Leaves streaks when applying.

I have 2 daughters in competition cheer. We take this bad boy on the road with us. It’s super quick and tan’s them nicely. My only suggestion, if you have more than one person to do at a time is have a back up battery to swap, I get through 1 1/2 kids with one battery on the turbo mode. Great sprayer! No complaints.

Great spray tan gun but as others have mentioned it will only hold a charge for one spray. Then has to be charged again. It's disappointing bc my daughter will come over and spray me then I spray her but we have to wait for it to recharge or spray really quick and hope it makes it through the second charge.

I was getting regular spray tans from my local spray tanner but decided to try at home tanning that would be more convenient and cost efficient. I had purchased another handheld machine but really wasn’t able to get a professional quality tan, I felt like that other machine was just lacking power and that made it spray splotchy. I decided to give this one a try and was not disappointed! It was super lightweight and easy to use. It has 2 power modes, and the turbo mode is game changer! It sprays a super fine mist just like a professional machine. I finally feel like I perfected my at home tan routine and my tan looks just as good as when I was getting it done professionally!

This thing is fantastic but I'm not using it for spray tans. I'm using it to spray cakes with food coloring! it works very well for creating gradients - not quite as good an an airbrush, but it will do! It is easy to fill and clean, stands on a table between uses, and broadcasts a nice mist. It's compact and easy to store. The batteries aren't super long-lasting, but I guess that's why they included 2.
