Got this for a little more peace of mind for cash and important documents. Saw videos that having something like one of these inside a "fireproof" safe offers much better protection. Fits in our safe like a glove.Only thing I don't like is that the back pocket on the top flap goes all the way through, so envelopes stored there will fall through when opening if not careful.

This new Colcase is smaller than the other ones I've purchased, which I used to transport vital documents during our interview at the U.S. Embassy. While I originally bought this smaller version to store documents, I quickly realized it could also serve a different purpose, like temporarily holding a pistol and ammunition when heading to the firing range (though this might not be the safest long-term use). Overall, it seems like a practical option for traveling with important papers. Its fireproof design, combined with the added security of a combination lock, makes it especially useful for safeguarding documents on the go.

Perfect for what is needed for.

The lock failed in this case after opening 4 times the lock could no longer be opened. I had to break the lock to get it open again and the lock is really cheap plastic very easy to break.
