Excellent lights! I honestly wasn't expecting much when I purchased these because I've bought solar lights before and they've been hit or miss. I hung them on the top of my fence posts on both sides of my house. The range of the motion sensor is amazing, probably 30-40 feet. The lights are extremely bright too. You can completely adjust the lights to go straight across or have the sides turn to an angle. The solar panel is also easily adjustable. It comes with brackets, screws, and anchors but I simply used two screws right into the fence post. There are four holes but I really didn't need it to be that secure and I can move them easily by simply loosening two screws. I'm not sure what you would need if you are attaching it to vinyl or concrete siding. They were so affordable and easy to install, I'm probably going to order another set for other corners of my house. Highly recommend.

I ordered this solar powered security light to provide some illumination on our back deck. The hardwired motion detector floodlight in this area finally wore out. Rather than going through the hassle of hardwiring a new one, I thought I would give a solar powered LED light a try. This light folds up pretty compactly and is shipped in a small box. It’s smaller than I envisioned, but it still throws off a lot of light. There’s really no assembly involved. You just screw the mounting bracket to the area of your choosing, unfold the light, and slide it into the bracket. You want to install it where the solar panel can get at least 8 hours of sunlight. In my case, I installed it on one of the wooden cross beams that forms a trellis above our deck. You can adjust the angle of the light and its individual panels to cover a wider area if desired. There is a button on the back of the light that can be used to adjust the light for different settings, but an included remote control makes this even easier. You can configure the light to turn on only with motion at maximum brightness, or you can configure it to stay on continuously with a lower light intensity. Obviously, you’ll get the best battery life if you set it to come on only with motion. With this setting, it turns off about 30 seconds after detected motion stops. On its maximum brightness setting, this lights up a significant area of our deck. Admittedly, it does not illuminate as well as a hardwired floodlight, but it works better than I expected, especially for its small size. It certainly works well enough for my intended purpose. Since I only just now set it up, I have no way to comment about its service life. As inexpensive and easy to set up as it is, if it holds up even just a year or two it will be money well spent.

For best results, set lights to stay "off unless motion detected". Bought these for our driveway and walkway leading to front door and originally set to stay on with dim light then bright when motion detected. They detect motion from about 25 feet and light up very bright when motion is detected, stay bright for about 15 seconds but the battery life is poor and they are completely dead by 1:30 in the morning under this setting. We changed the setting to "off unless motion detected" and when l leave for work in the morning they still light up. If you purchase these, be sure the solar panel gets direct sunlight and for best results keep the setting to "off unless motion detected". This is an updated review. After my initial review, the seller offered me a full refund which is great but since we changed the settings on them they have been working fine. I have learned that its a hit or miss with these type of lights regardless of the brand. 5 stars for the seller. 4 stars for the lights.

Worked great! Installed easily! The amount of light it gives off is perfect. We purchased the double pack, which really helped illuminate the backyard at night. I also like the three different settings options to pick from. It has both rained and snowed since we purchased and it still works like a charm.

These are amazing and supremely bright. I installed these the other day on a walkway i have that has NO light whatsoever. Installation was as simple as screwing the mounts to the wall, the lights then slide into the clip and lock in place. Removing them, is as simple as pressing the tab and lifting the light. I am using the first mode which is turn on 100% when motion detected, otherwise they're off. I waited till dark and started up the path. I was at least 10' away from the first light when it turned on and the path was lit as if day. Before I was out of the first batch of light, my second light detected movement and lit that portion of the walkway up. These were just what I was looking for and are so worth it. I was afraid that as a solar light it would not be bright enough, but trust me, these are BRIGHT! I bought another pair just to light up further on the walkway where my porch light isn't as bright as I would have liked, but these will definitely do the trick.
