Exactly what I wanted
I’m a fan. It’s so satisfying. I use pens instead of colored pencils. But I’m very pleased with this book. The perforated pages are so convenient for coloring.Pages are one sided so pens that bleed through are a non issue.I have purchased two others in this series.I guess I’m a super fan.It loses one star just because some numbers are hard to read or missing. Definitely almost perfect.

Best coloring book so far
I love the color-by-number books. I love coloring, but am not naturally creative, and I actually find trying to pick my own color combinations stressful, which negates the whole 'relaxation' aspect of coloring. These books let me relax and just color. I hope they never stop making them. I was worried about the small details of this book, but that turned out to be the best part. I do like to use my gel pens to add some outlines to the finished pics but it's not necessary that you do that. I have one more of these and will definitely order all the rest. Four stars because of a few annoying aspects. There are a fair number of instances of missing numbers. Normally, that's supposed to indicate white, but usually it's a color and the number is just missing. There have also been a couple of incorrect numbers. If the examples were full-page, it would be simple to figure out, but the thumbnails inside the covers are so tiny, that it's almost impossible to discern what a small section should be. But 95% of my experience is wonderful, so that won't stop me from recommending them or from buying more.

Hours of Relaxation
As a horse nut, I love the selection of realistic scens involving horses in many different environments and poses. The only "ding" is that the numbers through. Otherwise, page thickness, everything is great!

NOT FOR 11 year old girl.
She LOVES COLORING, but this was too hard and couldn’t hold her attention, plus her ocd wasn’t having any parts of this coloring adventure. Didn’t even finish one page and hasn’t had it since.

Strange colors
The colors palate makes strange pictures

Beautiful pictures
These color by number pictures can help any amateur to create a very pretty final product. Can use with watercolor markers for a very different feel. The coloring book’s introduction recommends using colored pencils. But I prefer using the watercolor tone markers, though regular markers are also very beautiful.

Realistic
I used for patterns. Colored some and then saved them for patterns later.

Not what's promised, colours that don't blend, grey lines remain visible & numbers that don't exist
I agree with another review that the pictures turn out like colour by number, not like their pictures, and the colour combinations (which I have matched the shades almost exact with quality pencil brands) do not blend naturally and the use of their shades of peach and orange as highlights do not work, but stand out like a sore thumb. The grey lines also remain very visible. I love horses and am using this to get back in the way of pencil colouring (which I've been very good at) as I've been on pen for a while. I hate the cowboy pictures and there are far too many of them, plus the last horse head in particular is completely spoilt by the mane that looks like a hairdresser wig, and it's not the only 1. Oh amd the colours are numbered up to 24, but 30 is repeatedly used!!! Utterly shameful for a book that could've been beautiful, especially as it cost more than the average Creative Haven.
