Long review - trial and error
Adiri is the winner. Ive bought many bottles. I was going home for lunch at work or had baby delivered to me during lunch breaks so I could feed her. But, I persisted and of course the winner of bottles was the last choice. Adiri is a stress reliever. When i received it, my hopes were shot and didnt really have any expectations. Ive tried lansinoh, nuks, ola, minbie, playtex (2) versions, avent (2) versions, dr brown bottles and sippy cup, tommee tippie, comotomo. I was ready to have my hubby and nanny use a syringe to feed my baby while i was at work. lol. If you find this review helpful, please click the helpful button as I spent a good time writing it and I hope it helps others who has a picky baby with bottles. It can be costly and frustrating. The main matter with all the bottle is finding the right nipple. I wish there was 1 bottle that fit all nipples. The problem with many of the bottle is the plastic silicone feeling of the nipple. My baby did not like it and always gave us the foreign disgusted look. So i am going to do a nipple review. What we found is that the medical grade silicone is the best of all.Adiri - the cost of the bottle is medium range but wont break the bank. You can find sales to get the lowest cost. The texture of the nipple is soft silicone medical grade & nipple is shaped like a real nipple. It has an identical shape like comotomo, ola, and tommee. But the shape of adiri base is rounded & my baby latched onto it like a real breast. You have to heat it with the bottle cap on and the cap for airvent or air and water will get inside. The only thing i dont like is the airvent makes it leak a little so they need to fix that design.Mimijumi - expensive bottle. I ordered it through the manufacturer since they have a guaranteed deal. If it doesnt work, i can send it back for a refund. This was nice since its $28. The nipple is the similar firmness like all other nipples. Its easy to clean. I got the 3-6 mth nipple and has a paced not too fast flow. Baby latched onto it but still getting used to it. She did not turn it away so ill be keeping it. She latched but stops. Maybe because its a different shape than all the other nipples and she has to get used to it.Ill be trying both adiri and mimijumi bottle with my baby to see which one has the most success but both bottle werent turned away.Comotomo Vs Ola - these 2 are almost the same. My baby liked the soft feeling of the 2 bottles. Baby didnt like the plastic silicone nipple for comotomo. But she didnt turn away the ola nipple. Ola nipple is identical to adiri nipple but has a wide base. The difference is adiris nipple material is the same as half of base of ola... and is also the same for lansinoh nipple. Adiris nipple material is fully covered w/ soft silicone.Lansinoh - a unique nipple compared to all the bottles. Baby was not latching to this bottle but didnt turn it away. The base of the nipple is made of soft silicone like adiri. But the tip was the plastic silicone feeling material. Thats when we realized that she does not like that material and i need to find the soft silicone.Nuks - shape is also unique almost like mams. I thought my baby would def like 1 of these. But no winner. The soft silicone is at the bottom of the nipple tip of nuks. And i got 3-6 mths flow for nuks but it was fast flow. Everytime baby tried to suck, milk would pour out too fast for her. At the end, she did not want it anymore. She also did not like that plastic feeling on top of the nipple.Tommee Tippie - out of all the bottles, this was the only one I had problems for leakage. She did not latch onto this bottle and gave us the questioned disgusted look like with all the other failed bottles.Dr Brown - i really like dr brown. I didnt mind washing and cleaning the compartments. It didnt leak. My baby played with the nipple for dr brown. The nipple is identical to playtex. I would get confused with which cover goes to which bottle. She would not latch on the nipple. So we tried dr brown sippy cup. My baby would bite the sippy cup and she would be able to get some milk out of it. A light snack to hold her over while she waits for me. So the sippy cup is definitely a keeper.Playtex ventaire - old and new version. Same nipple as dr brown. The handling of bottle is nice. But the nipple base was small for my baby and so it doesnt feel like the real deal.Minbie - the most expensive out of all.. $25. I couldnt order this through amazon. The manufacturer is based in australia. I ordered it due to the unique shape of nipple and it looks like the shape of a real nipple. High hopes for this one. But, the foreign and disgusted face is what baby gave us. So it confirms that we needed to order a diff material than all the other bottles. It is not the shape of the nipple, it is the feeling of the nipple. You cannot clean the nipple with the brush due to its delicate material. The nipple is soft, but also plastic feeling.Avent - i tried the colic free and regular. My baby started with these bottles when she was a newborn. We used it for a month. I liked it a lot. No problems with leaking. When we stopped using bottle for 3 weeks, she refused it. She did not like the plastic silicone material anymore

Minor Quirks
I wanted to wait to use these for a long time before reviewing so I could give a really thorough review. Conclusion is these are very handy and stylish, but be careful about relying on the durability of the nipples. We've had 4 of the 4oz newborns and 4 of the 8oz stage 1s. So far, we've had to toss 2 of the nipples and 1 nipple is on its way out, all of the bottles/bases are in good shape still. The first 2 had tears along the plastic screw-on part and the silicone part. One looked like it could have been cut by something - they get a lot of wear from us either in the diaper bag or from Baby clawing at or throwing them so it could have snagged on something in transit - the other looked like the glue or whatever had just not held up. The third that's on its way out is tearing at the hole, so now it's a slashed opening instead of pin prick sized hole. That's really my only complaint though. We've been fairly hard on these bottles to see if they're worth keeping and stocking up on for our next kid(s). We've also put them through the dishwasher as well as weekly sanitizing sessions, so I'm not totally surprised the nipples didn't last forever. In the end, we'll be staying with this brand 😊

great but stage 1 too fast for breastfed baby
My 8 month old breastfed baby would not take any bottle at all, and I tried a lot! I opened this bottle and showed it to her and she immediately began reaching for it! It was the only bottle she had done that for! She actually tried drinking for it, but unfortunetly it way way too fast for her. When you tipped it upside down the milk just flowed out like a super fast nipple, not what I expected from a stage one nipple. Maybe I got a bad one? Anyway, I took a chance and bought the newborn one and she loves it!!!! Now mommy can get a break! On a side note, if your bottle is leaking, take it apart and make sure the seal on the bottom is pressed down fully! My MIL called me saying it was leaking all over. When I got home I took it apart , took the seal off and put it back on and it was fine. The only thing I don't like about this bottle is that if it gets droppped the seal pops off and the milk goes everywhere. Small price to pay for having a bottle that baby will actually use though! That and the fact that it's not sold in stores!

great bottle....but didn't come new.
First: the bottle is great. My 8 month old who has refused ALL bottles actually likes this one. It's a miracle. The nipple is the most like a natural nipple in terms of length and shape.Milk will dribble out if held upside down ( like most bottles). Easy flow for my baby...it could be too much for young babies despite being a stage 1.however if I'm paying full price for something that isn't advertised as used...then I expect it to be new. The box has been opened and the bottle has very clearly been used before. Hence the 3 stars over 5.

It was terrible for everyone
My baby has refused every kind of bottle we have tried. Returning to work after baby is hard enough add to that your baby won't eat the entire time your away. It was terrible for everyone. So many tears shed, so much stress. He was screaming every time I got to daycare to feed/pick him up. My son has started taking this bottle at 3 months. He still struggles with it a bit but he is actually able to suck on it and eat. Hallelujah!! However I think the nipple flow is too fast so I will be purchasing the newborn nipple.

Nice nipple, leaky bottom, fast flow
I have tried quite a few bottles for my breastfed, bottle-refusing 4.5-month-old, and we both like the nipple on this one best, though he still hasn't taken much milk from it. Trouble is that the petal vent at the bottom leaks when I'm trying to warm milk, despite having the "warming cap" on (which also leaks), and I've had to throw out lots of precious breastmilk! I suspect that's the reason the flow is too fast as well. Have tried calling the Adiri customer service number about this a few times with no call-backs. I'm using a different bottle to warm for now and transferring to this one. It's a pain.
