Must have Treats
Purchased these for my elderly dog who had renal failure. He wasn’t able to eat regular treats due to high fat content but really wanted his treats. He loved them and was ok’d my vet.

Please follow the directions and only give the amount it’s prescribed for your dog. My little 8 pound dachshund absolutely loves these treats. What I do with them is I take half of one for her breakfast and I use a cheese grater on the fine grading and I graded over her food and I use it as a topper. I do that also for her dinner I also if I don’t do that, I also just give her a little pieces and never exceed one piece per day.

Kip was diagnosed with kidney disease about 6 months ago, and I had to search high and low for foods that he would eat but also had some semblance of being renal treats. Not always successful, but several sites on FB mentioned Dave's so I looked them up. Thankfully Dave's has these treats and other kidney friendly foods that are non prescription. Kip, pretty much consistently, likes to eat these. He sniffs and then gobbles them up. I'm a happy mama and he's getting something in his tummy. Highly recommend.

My tiny senior dogs with CKD like this!
When my two rescue seniors were diagnosed with stage 1 CKD I was stressed. I needed to find kidney friendly treats that not only my two CKD doggies would enjoy ( Maltipoo and Yorkie Bichypoo) but that my other two little rescues ( Yorkie & Pomeranian) would enjoy. I am happy to state that all four ( plus a foster Shih tzu) enjoy these treats when broken into small pieces and offered. Yes, there are not much in the bag, but am just happy to find a treat that everyone can enjoy together. I also buy the Hill's prescription Diet CDK friendly treats which everyone likes as long as I break it into small pieces.
