Good film - I'm all-in!
This film is legendary in poker circles, particularly noted for the part in which two characters are watching a re-run of the famous final table WSOP showdown between Chan and Seed. If you like poker this is a good film as there are lots of references to the game, a fair portion of which is paraphrased from Doyle Brunson's Super System book. The storyline is original - a convict gets out of prison but runs up gambling debts in his friend's name. The friend then has to play a lot of poker against his girlfriend's wishes in order to pay off the debt collectors. I've watched some of the other poker films such as Push, but this certainly is a cut above them.

No special features?
I bought it on the strength that it was the special edition version, however there's no special features option on the menu screen. Apart from that it's quite a good film.

Excellent film about a poker player
I missed this first time round, and came across it due to a mention in a book "The Biggest Bluff." Not being a poker player I was a bit dubious, but thoroughly enjoyed the story, and the poker action. Well worth watching.

Never go all in!
Edward Norton on top form. Great film and host of performances. My son and I sit down once a year and rewatch this.
