Great bulbs
Update; This is a great vendor to purchase your products from, they are customer focused. They contacted me when they read my first review & offered a product that worked perfectly for my application. I have never been contacted by any supplier offering to resolve my issue. I will make this supplier my first choice in the future. There products work very good. My girlfriend loves the bulbs as she can adjust the color, the brightness & can turn them on & off via votive control. Pros: works well with AppleTV Home, has variable color ranges, light intensity can be adjusted. Cons: It is to big, I had to modify my lamps because the bulb is to long & interferes with the lamp shade frame.

Quality control issues
Update: they saw my concern and reached out to make it right. Nice lightbulbs, excellent customer service. Original: I like the format and capabilities, but one of the pair of bulbs I ordered doesn’t have functioning red LEDs. So I can’t get the colors to match or do any scenes that require red. I’ll try reaching out to the vendor and update this after that effort.

They just work
They connected without issue to matter on home assistant and work great!

Cheap bulbs, they work, but at a cost.
These lights were fine. Honestly if you were just going to want to set them and forget them they'd work. But I'll be honest, the color range of these bulbs and the granularity when selecting colors is poor at best. They also just kind of feel poorly made. Again they work fine, but I won't be using these long term. One positive though is that pairing with matter worked really easy. They installed fine and were up and running quite quickly.

Matter setup for Google worked well
The bulbs connected easily to Google Home/Nest as a Matter device and have been working for a few weeks now without any issues. My only complaint is that the response time on these bulbs seems to be just a fraction of a second slower than my other bulbs, but I don't know if that latency is coming from the bulb or from Google. Either way, this is the only Matter E12 (candelabra) RGB bulb that I've been able to find, so I'm overall quite happy with them. I should also note that one of the bulbs I ordered was defective out of the box (didn't connect and I heard rattling inside). But the company responded within a day to my support email and sent me a free replacement pack that arrived within a few days.

Work Well with Amazon Echos and the Alexa App
These bulbs come with an unusually grammatically correct little user pamphlet. The print's small, but at least it's well-written English, so you won't puzzle about what they meant by such and such. Happily, with the Alexa app installed on your mobile phone, all you need to do is screw a bulb into a socket that's powered on, go into "Devices" in the app, and respond affirmatively to the invitation to add a newly discovered "Espresif" device. PLEASE NOTE: I did not see anywhere in the pamphlet where they called it an "Espresif"-brand bulb. For purposes of Alexa, it's a Matter bulb, and so it works with Echo devices. For those not in the know, Echos and Echo Dots are "Matter hubs" by default, meaning that they will recognize the presence of this bulb when it's turned on. Just remember: this is an "Espresif" bulb when that shows up in your Alexa app invitation. I can't speak on any other home automation facility, as I discovered a couple of years back that Amazon's is the easiest to set up and use. The pamphlet lists the generations of Echo/Echo Dot these work with, but to make a long story short, I'll summarize by saying if your Echo/Echo Dot is later than 2018, it should work. And if you want to use these with Echo Show, the pamphlet says Echo Show 5 or later will suffice. Once screwed into a powered socket, the bulbs behave perfectly. There's no discernible flicker, and I especially like the very smooth gradations possible. You can stand there staring at the bulb and say, "Alexa, set INSERT_WHATEVER_YOU_NAME_IT_HERE to 17%", and it will go to precisely 17%. You can verify that by next saying, "Alexa, set such-and-such to 18%" (increasing the illumination by just 1%), and you'll notice an ever-so-slight increase in the brightness. Each color is distinct and true, and the gradations possible are apparent as you make any adjustments. Speaking of gradations, being an electrical engineer and all, I thought I'd put one into my voltage meter. The two columns below show what I found. The left one's the percent illumination, and the right one's the corresponding watt use: OFF 0.2 watt (it's a smart bulb, so some power's required even when it's "off" so it can respond to an "on" command). 0% 0.2 watt 10% 0.6 watt 20% 0.9 watt 30% 1.2 watt 40% 1.6 watt 50% 1.9 watt 60% 2.2 watts 70% 2.6 watts 80% 2.9 watts 90% 3.3 watts 100% 3.6 watts I think these are pretty nifty chandelier bulbs, nice-looking on or off, good color rendering, no flicker, low power consumption, very responsive to Alexa control. 5 clear stars.

A very nice bulb once you get past the docs
I was concerned when I started to read the instructions: “The Matter setup code can only be used to add the device to the first ecosystem. For the second commissioning …”. Chinese to English by a person with two dictionaries who speaks neither Chinese nor English? The overview on the box offered no encouragement when, as part of the setup, stated to “Ensure bulb is breathing.” After a slight pause, I downloaded the app (which, in itself was a challenge to find), initialized the bulbs (they weren’t breathing but the did have a pulse), told Alexa to find devices and, voila, there was light. I’ve since unplugged them, moved them around, renamed them, and they work fine. Only downside is not being able to schedule them, but that’s easy enough to work around. Good purchase. Just needs better documentation. Final word of caution. The instruction pamphlet contains a QR code for each bulb. Try not to lose it.

Hub Required. Not App Only Controlled. E12 Base. 2YR Warranty.
Shenzhen Keyoung Technology Co Ltd is the parent company of this product. Why did I mention this? Because this company makes a lot of products and lists them under a number of different names. So when you're researching "light bulbs" for example you may be looking at bulbs offered by the same company under a different name. With that being said this bulb, in my opinion, is a quality smart bulb. I spend a good deal of time to make sure that electronic devices meet certain criteria before I consider them safe. This product is ETL listed. Smart bulbs are considered devices so they need to be certified. These bulbs are offered in quality packaging with detailed information about the product. On the product itself are serial numbers, model numbers, and QR codes. All this is helpful to identify where the bulb came from when it's time to replace it or contact support. This bulb has a two year warranty. A lot of bulbs have no warranty other than the 30 Day return window offered by Amazon. This bulb is suitable for damp locations. Now you can't get it wet but you can use it outdoors. This bulb requires a hub such as Alexa, Google, Apple, Smart Things, and some others. You cannot control these bulbs from an app on your cell phone. Let me rephrase that. You can control these bulbs from your phone with the app that is associated with a hub like the ones I have mentioned. This is by far the most desirable method of utilizing and communicating with smart technology. You want to try to avoid having multiple apps to control different bulbs in your house. I mean it would be optimal to be able to control all your smart devices and light bulbs from one hub and from one app. That's what MATTER is all about. It is a universal program that is already installed on your hub and will recognize devices that carry the MATTER name. These particular bulbs are Candelabra style. That is size E12. I believe the E stands for Edison with a 12mm diameter (screw base). Now Candelabra bulbs are mostly slim but these smart bulbs are about one and a half times the size of a regular Candelabra bulb. I mean after all there's 32 million colors inside each one. That was supposed to be funny. I have tested a number of smart bulbs and downloaded a number of apps and in my opinion smart bulbs with the MATTER technology are the bulbs that I prefer. Cheers
