Nesco SQT-2, Add-a-Tray for Square Dehydrators FD-80 and FD80A, White, Set of 2

These are the exact ones that match our Nesco dehydrator. :) Not much to say. We love this dehydrator and have no issues with these trays. Cleaning can be a bear, but that isn't the fault of the shelves, it's just inherent to having to have all those holes for airflow. I just soak them in a big storage tote bin. I think I read you can put them in your dishwasher, but I have no plans for that.

A simi truck full of apples and oranges flipped and a friend of mine who runs a clean up crew gave me about 400 pounds of fruit. I ordered two of these and the extra trays to complete the 8 tray maximum and have been dehydrating fruit for the last three week. These things work great. They have settings right on the top that tell you what to set the unit to for each type of product. I have to say, I never thought dehydrated apples and oranges would be so good. They are delicious! My friend had a dehydrator and tried to do some but her unit over dehydrated the fruit and burned it. The only problem now is that all my friend and family are always coming over begging for more dried fruit chips. I highly recommend this dehydrator and these extra trays.

We knew from reading the reviews and talking to friends who dehydrated that we'd want more than the 4 trays that came with the Nesco/American Harvest FD-80 Square-Shaped Dehydrator and ordered the box of 2 additional ones at the same time we purchased the dehydrator (which was the exact same price on Amazon as it was at Walmart). When you have all 6 trays in the dehydrator, you will want to shift the trays around so that they all take turns up at the top end, especially if you've loaded the trays somewhat densely, even without overlapping. The dehydrator does it's job faster (not better) when it has just a few trays, and takes longer the more trays you use. Tip: As my foods dried and shrank, I combined them onto fewer trays and that seemed to really speed up dehydration. I know we'd all like to get things dehydrated as quickly as possible, and it's tempting to crank up the heat, but I don't want the nutrients, especially in fruits and vegetable to be destroyed by excessive heat.

Trays arrived sooner than expected and in excellent condition. They are the same as the ones my dehydrator came with and work just as well. I dry a lot of herbs and apples so I use a clean-a-screen with each tray to keep small pieces from falling to the bottom or sticking to the tray. They really work great.

i did alot of searching and comparing and this one won out, i love it. been having lots of fun trying different things and so far my family is loving everything too! I like that its square, and it fits right on my kitchen counter without looking odd or out of place. I think I've used it every day since I bought it. My grandkids love it to, and make lots of suggestions on what we should try dehydrating. So far they love the apples and bananas and strawberries. We mix them and add things to make our own trail mix. They ask for the dried fruit now instead of candy and things like that!They are even suggesting different veggies to try. It has been a great way to get them interested in eating right. i am so glad i bought the two extra trays. they are easy to clean and very easy to use.

I purchased this product in April 2012. It is almost 3 years later and I am still using it. This Nesco dehydrator is an excellent starter dehydrator in a price range I could afford at the time. I purchased four additional trays to use it as an 8-tray unit. The square shape, really holds a lot. The trays clean easily and dried food comes off with just a little soaking. I thought the mesh in the trays would break because I clean them with a sponge but they had held up the past three years. I am very pleased with this product and all of it's components.

I cut out the inner portion of a few trays so I could fit some jars into the dehydrator. I turned it into a yogurt maker. It works great!

I have a Nesco FD-80 dehydrator that I purchased several months ago, It comes with 4 trays and the additional 2 trays provides an enormous amount of extra drying space. The trays are the same colour and quality as the original and were priced very well. The FD-80 is a great device that delivers perhaps the highest value for $$ of any home dehydrator

The trays fit my dehydrator perfectly (as they should) and provide the extra trays I needed to maximize my dehydration. The mesh part looks quite delicate, the same as on the trays that originally came with my Nesco dehydrator, so I wash them just as carefully and haven't had any breakages yet. I've only used them for one season so far, so time will tell how they hold up down the road.

I now have 8 trays for my dehydrator. Doesn't seem to affect the drying efficiency. Saves time and works well.

they don't fit in my sink or dishwasher, but that's not their fault, I use the mats all the time cause they are easy to clean

They do the job. It's great to be able to expand the capacity of our dehydrator.
