18 days straight with 0 dead. Unit has no trap door to keep them from running away. Squeeze plate doesn't squeeze enough to hold. Multiple rodents have been zapped but then don't return to the unit having learned it zaps them. Caught more with the RUChillin snap trap also available on Amazon. Would recommend avoiding this unit and purchase the twin trap door bucket lid trap or the RUChilin trap if you are looking to catch them instead of only annoying them. This unit will leave you with more got-aways on your property than if you had Biden watching their entry.

10 seconds of squealing and it did kill a mouse. I think the shock did less than being crushed. I have had it go off a few times with nothing in it. A Victor trap we have kills in under a second. Not humane, I should have spent more for the better trap.Not sensitive at all, so it is quiet because it usually fails.

I've used similar traps and they last for years. I like this one better and it has already controlled my rat problem.

Product did not work, set and make correct signals per instructions however didnt shock/trap the rodent. Rodent cleaned the bait try multiple times.Put down a different trap and caught the rodent within 24 hours. Due to vacation I appear to have missed the window for return and refund.

I tried this item both by electric and batteries for 10 days. The bate (peanut butter was gone and no rodents were electrocuted. I purchased 2 old fashioned traps and caught 3 rodents within 5 days. This product might be okay for others but not for me.

Works, briefly. It was great at first, but then it starts beeping non-stop, even without a mouse in it. I had to unplug it ( which defeated my purpose of getting it) and use batteries.We had neighbors who moved out, had a jungle in their back yard, so when the owners finally hired a company to clear their yard, we had EVERY FLIPPING field mouse move into our house! Hence why wanted one that plugs in, so I don't have to replace the batteries constantly.
