4 MTS UPHOLSTERY NAIL STIP STUDS TACKS 9.5MM BRONZE RENAISSANCE

I bought this to re-upholster 4 dining chairs. I needed 2 packs for this which would have been enough for another chair as well. The original fittings used the same strips so I could have re-used some if necessary.The fabric is held in place with staples, so they are really just decorative trim. The trick is getting the fabric tension right when stapling it. My electric nail gun would not driv the staples into the wood of the chair, so I had to borrow a heavy duty hand stapler.The only problem was that sometimes the position of the tack co-incided with a staple, making it difficult to drive home in the correct place.You need a small hammer for the fixings.The strip can be boken by hand where required. There were plenty of loose tacks for the ends of runs so you could finish each end secured properly. We paid about £20 for 2 metres of heavy fabric, so for about £35 we have four chairs as good as new! Easy to recommend! No problem with delivery or packaging.

Easy to use, but typical case of needing extra pins, as they sometimes bend.My local haberdashery pins were not an exact match but the overall finished job looked good.

Great item and super quick delivery. I upholster in my spare time and this was great value especially as I don't usually buy in bulk but just for whatever project I have. Plently of spare loose studs sent so even if I messed up a few, I had enough for the strip.

So much easier than putting the nalis in one at a time good quality and easy to use
