Transformers Age of The Primes Deluxe Class Aerialbot Slingshot, 5.5-inch Converting Action Figure, Robot Toys for Ages 8+

Slingshot is a great character and figure. Major upgrade from the combiner wars version. In fact, all the Aerialbots from the Age of the Primes are a major upgrade from the Combiner Wars series. Slingshot always stood out, because of his head. Unlike his teammates, his head is orange and or is odd. The character, in the show, was outspoken and got himself into trouble many times. The toy itself is great, easy to turn from robot to vehicle and back. Honestly, I didn't have to look at the instructions to figure it out. The only complaint about the toy is the feet. If you notice, the feet are longer than the other toys in this group. Why didn't Hasbro address this when they designed it? Though, it helps the figure stand without issues, but sometimes it can hamper if you want to pose in a variety of ways. For the price, it's acceptable. If the tariffs hadn't existed, this figure probably would be anywhere from $14 to $19. I recommend buying it from Amazon rather than picking it up at the stores. Anyway, I hope to get all the toys in the series to combine into Superion.

Hes great! I completed superion hes not bad as a combinder and slingshot was My first arielbot I purchased all the arielbots are 8 out of 10 there stunning together the arielbots are figure of the year!

The head is ugly but the posing and jet look great. You can’t even tell the jet transforms and the transformation is simple.

Honestly, this figure shows that you can make a competent jet mode that doesn’t looks like a robot with a plane on its back. The transformation is fun and easy, and the paint is quite nice. The possibility on the shoulders suck (it’s due to the transformation though). It’s definitely worth it by itself and not just as a component to a bigger robot.
