Useless
Spent hours trying to get support and drivers for this device without any respite. Connecting to Indian websites is impossible, there is no concept of customer support I cannot fathom why Amazon would allow such rubbish to pass through their franchise.

Costly, but gets the job done
Works very well, allowing to authenticate with various government services requiring biometric authentication. Installing the drivers and supporting apps was a bit fiddly but finally got there. The cost compared to other fingerprint readers is quite high too.

It did not serve the purpose, hence returned back.
It did not got connected with the Govt servers of aadhaar card.
