Beautiful
Beautiful. Its modern without being too outlandishly designed. It comes with extra hardware in case of damage.Update. I dropped the clock while repositioning it on the wall. It has bent significantly and is not the perfect circle shape it was. So i will add that it is rather fragile. So handle with care

Despite the faux materials, the clock looks just as impressive as it does in the product images
I was immediately sold on this clock when I saw its glossy black marble face and the walnut wood frame. So I was a little let down to find out that neither material is completely authentic. The marble face is actually tempered glass with a marble-like pattern underneath, and the walnut wood is only a thin layer on the surface. Despite this, I’m still very happy with how beautiful the clock looks. The marble look is incredibly convincing from only about an arm’s length away, and the walnut wood looks great regardless of its thickness. I’ve taken several close-up photos from different angles to show that the clock looks just as impressive as it does in the product images (ignore any of my finger smudges). The clock operates completely silently. Though the product description specifically mentions using a 1.5V AA battery, I was happy to find out my 1.2V AA NiMH rechargeable battery works just fine. The clock also comes with an extra set of silver hands, and it's easy to switch them out for a different look, no tools needed. I do wish it had a second hand, as I find the sweeping motion of a second hand on a silent clock very appealing. But again, I'm very happy with how beautiful this clock looks as it is.The clock has two screw slots for wall mounting, which would require both to be balanced. Instead, there’s a simpler method of just using a single screw to hang the clock perfectly balanced. Simply hang the clock on the left screw slot (when facing the clock head-on), and the weight will balance out to keep the clock level. When using only a single screw, I recommend using a drywall anchor to make sure it can support the clock’s weight.I don't know if I'd recommend this clock as a gift only because the faux materials might be noticeable when handling it up close. However, I have absolutely 0 issues displaying it in my own home. From just about any angle or distance, the marble face and walnut frame look like the real deal, and the clock looks just as beautiful as I expected.

Beautiful Clock Which Could Possibly Use Slightly More Attention to Detail
I love this clock -- it is a gorgeous design that will go really well with the mid-century look I'm trying to achieve in my new apartment. It's completely silent, only takes one AA battery, and keeps accurate time. Mounting this was easy for me by simply using a piece of paper tape across the back to mark where the holes were and then putting that on the wall before nailing in the provided plastic hooks (it also comes with screws if you're rather use those). The only real issue with it is that for a $70 clock, it could use just a bit more attention to detail. The wood and the metal frame aren't perfectly parallel at the bottom, and the top mounting piece is not perfectly centered vertically with the 12 and 6 on the dial. The thin support bar also isn't perfectly straight on mine either. While I do feel that these defects are worth a deduction to the overall score I'd give this clock (hence the 4 star review), it's not like they are egregious issues. The clock is still a beautiful, functional decoration, and frankly I would recommend it to anyone who this goes with your aesthetic.Regarding the price -- $70 may feel like a lot for a clock (and frankly, it does bring this up to the level of "premium decoration"), but it is certainly appropriate for this particular product and feels like a comfortable price point. Clocks can get a lot more expensive -- with greater craftmanship reflecting higher prices -- and this clock does provide the vintage/antique aesthetic without having to pay vintage/antique prices. While I agree with others that it would be nice to have real black marble, it doesn't feel necessary to me and I think that the appearance of the glass is perfectly fine while helping the clock remain lightweight. Perhaps if this clock had perfectly crafted proportions, a second hand, and real marble, it would be worth upwards of $200, but I think that $70 is a really nice spot for this and allows for having a beautiful, well-designed decoration relatively inexpensively.Overall, I recommend this product if you're going for a mid-century/modern aesthetic -- or frankly just need a big, lightweight clock. Although it may have some slight imperfections, it does not detract from the impact or functionality of this beautiful piece.

Beautiful clock with unique design
We are very happy with our Walnut and Marble looking contemporary clock. It has a modern, unique and sleek look to it, not something you will likely see in your friend's homes. The clock runs on 1 AA battery and is silent. Has kept perfect time for the last 2 months. Easy to mount with 2 mounting points in the top black circle. This clock does look expensive so I'm fine with the price of about $70.00 for this item. I'd recommend this item.
