This is one of the major drawbacks of the A1, not enough light and don't get me started on the camera. This solves the light problem and does it with a very easy to "install" process, it is about as plug and play as the printer itself. Now if someone could figure out the camera, this would make a lot of people happy.

This light works fine but if someone wants to buy this for the Bambu AMS plug beware. The wires are switched from positive to negative. On this light positive is the black wire ?

This LED strip is a decent and cheap little add on for your A1 or A1 combo. It adds a decent bit of light to the build plate and was super easy to install. I run my AMS lite top mounted on my machines, and this had no problem sticking to the plastic mount and flexing right over it. A note before installation is that you will need to end up cutting off the last diode in the strip. There is a scissor mark on the LED strip where it's safe to cut it. I simply used my angle nippers to cut through it before adhere it to the axis above.Nice little add on for the money. I like it so much that I bought them for my other machines as well.

Works perfect with my A1 mini! Nice and bright.

Adhesive is not great, bright and easy to setup

I ordered this LED strip from UniTak3D for my A1 Mini.The Good:- The lights are bright and allow me to monitor my prints remotely without having to keep the room's lights on.- The light's plug-in fits perfectly in the A1 Mini's port and comes on and goes off automatically with the printer. There is also a button on the cord, so you can turn it off when you don't need it on while the printer is running.- The cord was long enough that I could feed it through the drag chains I installed, but I had problems with these chains putting stress on the plug. I designed a small shroud that protects it as can be seen in the photo.The Bad:- This is not necessarily a fault of the product, but the placement isn't ideal. By running lights along the X-rail, the toolhead creates a shadow over your print. However, there isn't a great spot to install strip lights on this machine.- There were zero instructions provided in the box or on the product page. Not that it is complicated, but there were a few good tips that could have been mentioned. For example, the wire sticks out a bit as it passes over the bracket connecting the X-rail to the Z-rail. The toolhead's smooth profile simply rides over it and pushes it up as it goes to the far right side to cut the filament. However, I used the included patch of tape to pull this wire up. I'm not sure if this is what it was for, but it works.Overall, this is not a perfect solution, and I wish the seller would include some instructions, so a buyer can install optimally, but it has been working well so far.
