3M Aqua-Pure Under Sink Dedicated Faucet Water Filter System AP-DWS1000LF, 5583103, No Faucet

We used to have a GE filter. It got kinda old. I guess the plastic started breaking down because the water tasted funny. This unit took 15 minutes to hook up because the 1/4" lines were already there. The water tastes great ,no chlorine odor or taste.

This is our second purchase of this model filter. We pre-filter dirt and rust at the source of the city water coming into the house and have this filter under our kitchen sink. Very happy with the flavor and the longevity of this filter

Easy to maintain, easy filter changes.

I installed this filter and used a ppm reader to compare water before and after being filtered. The reading is about the same. The way I read this is that it is not filtering much.

This was defective and the replacement system never arrived

This unit is an utter piece of garbage. It has a defective dial which leaks and will destroy the inside of your cabinet. Upon calling 3M regarding this manufacturing defect they knew immediately what the problem was which means that they are aware that this unit is flawed and prone to leak. They said it requires a replacement part. Do not buy this unit! It is garbage and it leaks profusely, and 3M should have issued a recall on it.

We have had this system since 2013. We have never had any problems either with leaks or difficulty in changing filters. I replace them annually. The water tastes great. If there is any issues with these units, it may be due to a change in their manufacturing.
