Our whole family LOVES this sauce on our crispy chicken wings made at home!
This sauce is literally like liquid gold in our house. We go through these gallon jugs in only a few months. Several years ago, I discovered another product on Amazon that teaches you how to make UNBELIEVABLY crispy chicken wings from home in either your air fryer, oil fryer or turkey fryer. After starting with the air frying and oil frying methods (using the smaller household appliances) it quickly became apparent I needed a much larger cooking solution because my family absolutely fell in love with these wings. This Buffalo wing sauce is by far the favorite of our household. At least once a week, I am now making anywhere from 60 to 100 crispy wings in my turkey fryer. Seriously, stop wasting your money on overpriced restaurant wings that are generally sub-par when you can literally make better wings for about 1/3rd of the price. We love this sauce because of the excellent flavor, it's not too spicy and is an excellent value based on the amount we go through. I had never used a turkey fryer before and was always a little bit hesitant since we've all seen those dreaded turkey fryer fires. After watching the video instructions (which are SUPER EASY) I figured even I could follow some basic instructions. The product and unique prep instructions exceeded my expectations and I've never looked back. I ended up buying some squeeze bottles to put this sauce in for easy dispensing onto the crispy wings when they are done cooking. The sauce is absolutely 5 stars. Not the original, still very good.
Great stuff... but it's not the original sauce it's the Buffalo sauce which has some thickening, a bit different flavour than regular Franks but still good.

Tastes great, good value, a bit hot, but that's what you want when you buy Franks. The sauce is versatile and can be used for tons of stuff (we even use it for pizza sauce). The bottle was sealed nicely.

Not very hot, but excellent flavor...if you like vinegar
Why buy a gallon? This is a hot sauce for people that want their food coating in hot sauce like as if it was BBQ sauce. The buffalo sauce is Frank's RedHot Sauce, but thicker. That's the main difference between the original sauce and the buffalo sauce. The sauce is thick, and it sticks to things well...it was designed to coat wings, and it will certainly do that very well. Actually, though, I prefer the original sauce. The flavor of the buffalo sauce is a bit different...buttery, but not butter. The ingredients list "natural butter type flavor," and I have actually mixed real butter (or ghee) into hot sauce before...it's pretty tasty, but there's something off with the "natural butter type flavor." It doesn't really taste like butter to me...it reminds me of butter, but it's not as good as butter, and frankly, I prefer the normal sauce which does not have this ingredient. If I decide I want butter, I'll add it, and if I need my frank's redhot sauce to be thicker, I'll mix in some Sriracha. This makes a better consistency anyway, and you can adjust based on what you are eating by using more or less Sriracha. Still, this isn't a bad product even if I prefer the original. You might like the buttery flavor, you might like the consistency. Neither are bad...just not my preference. If you've never had Frank's, you probably wouldn't shop for a gallon, but I'm going to tell you that it will remind you of salt and vinegar anyway. If you don't like that flavor combination, you will not like Franks. If you do...well, you might find yourself buying it by the gallon. Also, It's not very hot, but you can add heat by mixing it with hotter sauces, but the flavor is excellent and the price cannot be beat.
