Backyard Golf Mat 3'X5' Pro Residential with Foam Pad

After owning this mat for 2 months, and using it off a wooden floor outdoors 3-4 times a week in the very high temperatures and humidity of a Florida summer, I am very pleased with the look, feel and quality of this mat. Anyone who has ever hit off artificial turf at a driving range will know the feel of this mat. The hit is very firm, with little forgiveness, and if your hitting sessions are going too be very long, you may feel a bit sore in the hands and arms at first the next day. In some reviews I read that the mat may slide, but the rubber padding at the bottom my mat grips the wooden floor just fine. The “grass” side is holding up well; no signs of thinning or damage in the hitting areas. Mine came with 2 tee holes at each end (and one rubber tee), so I rotate it for each new session. I added a packet of tees, because the one that came with the mat is too high for fairway woods and irons. I also drew grid lines across the mat with a waterproof marking pen. Now I can check alignment on every hit. The manufacturer should add these to the finished product at the factory.

A basic, but very well made (sturdy, heavy) that doesn't move around on the grass. Large enough to feel comfortable hitting irons and driver. I would like the option to raise the tee height for driver, but will figure something out for that. Lower price than others and works very well.

I like this matt so much because of the size and turf. It doesn't leave the green makes on clubs, even the ones at the driving range leave a hard to clean off green mark on the heel slow and bounce area. I believe it is a great quality driving mat with tee holes on d both sides. 4in all.

The mats really good quality. It’s held up to 1000s of chip, pitch and full swing shots with irons, woods and driver. I did notice the layer underneath tore away slightly on one corner but that may be my fault from dragging it on the ground. It hasn’t gotten any worse so I think it will hold up as long as I’m not careless with it. The other thing I would note is that the mat isn’t heavy enough to flatten the grass. This causes the mat to not sit flat and be a little “bouncy” on top of grass. So if you plan to use it over grass, plan on putting something like 3/4” plywood down first to get it to lie flat.

Bought a cheap mat before and definitely a you get what you pay for. This mat has been great. Good size and thickness, no green marks on bottom of clubs. Only semi complaint is holes for rubber tees could be closer to edge cause when hitting driver with wide stance, your back foot might be off the mat. Easy fix to drill hole myself. I set on patio and it works perfectly. Highly recommend and dog likes it also when I'm grabbing a different club

I searched long and hard for a good golf practice mat but eventually came to the conclusion that there wasn't something decent for what I was wanting to spend, until I found this one. I purchased it with a little concern that it might be cheap. It isn't at all. It is thick, heavy duty, stays in place, plenty large and works perfectly. Rubber tee inserts fit perfectly and stay in place. I love it. It might not last a few season on a public practice facility, but for personal use, if you don't leave it in the elements constantly, I'm pretty sure it will last a lifetime.

Did some heavy research looking for a cheap mat to hit some balls out in my shop. The prices I was finding across the internet were absurd for a piece of turf with rubber on the bottom. Took the chance on this one and so far, so good. I have had it about 3 weeks and have used it 5 or 6 times for about an hour each time. Does not slide much on my concrete and have not noticed any wear on the turf. Good for all clubs.

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Very durable. Definitely recommend!
