Every 2-3 years, the models offered change but ever since I got the taste of the supreme comfort and durability offered by these shoes, I have personally being buying these online.My last low-ankle allen cooper shoe is still going good even after two and half years of rugged use in plant with minor cracks over the suede leather & the sole being still in a good shape.However , as an improved safety feature my plant decided to make the hi-ankle shoes compulsory for all and we were given the high ankle Liberty warrior safety shoes. These are some good quality lightweight shoes with slight cushion but my feet started hurting especially below the steel toe arc after using it for more than 2 hours.Thus I was forced to return to the high ankle version of my favourite brand and bought it from amazon at a price of 1990 with 129 bucks extra as shipping charges.The keypoints of my observation with the product can be summed up as under:1.) DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION :***********************************************************As you may all have noticed, Its design and construction is quite different from all safety shoes available and most of you would surely agree-It looks remarkably fancy & pleasant for a safety shoe.It won’t even feel odd if used for even biking or other personal endevours.OUTER FABRIC:************************The shoe is made up of a Buff suede complete grain grey leather with a steel toe embedded at the front.In addition it has a Barton print black leather upper with synthetic lining.NUBUCK Vs SUEDE LEATHER:***********************************************For those who wonder what a suede leather is : A suede leather is obtained from the inner part of the animal skin and is thus comparatively soft than the thick outer layer of the animal skin from which Nubuck leather is derived, thus in terms of durability nubuck leather is better. However that doesn’t mean suede leather is fragile.It is also quite durable but just not as much when compared to nubuck.Both are water resistant but demand regular polish and care for longevity.INSOLE, INNER FABRIC & OVERALL STITCHING:*****************************************************************The inside of the shoe is heavily cushioned with a 3mm thick non-woven insole and no part of it hurts the feet upon wearing. The inner lining is breathable non-woven Cambrelle Lining of Grey Color which has an excellent tear strength & keeps the feet sweat-free, cozy & comfortable even after prolonged use.There are two parallel runs of a strong grey thread used in the stitching of various parts of the upper shoe. The stitching is quite fine & accurate and broken or left-out threads or loss of exact parallel run of stiches are no where seen.SOLE CONSTRUCTION:*************************************It comes with an Antistatic, Abrasion, Cut & slip resistant outsole constructed of a Directly injected Double density Poly-urethane which is a fully automated “zero sole failure “ process for enhanced safety and comfort. The PU soles also helps in absorbing any shocks as well.The outsole also offers acid/alkali & oil resistant, puncture resistant, antistatic, Electrical resistivity & anti slip protections.It is further protected via a steel plated mid sole.A clear construction diagram is included with the shoe along with a care instruction and warranty details.Proper symbols for each protection is marked over the box.The outsole also has a careful design with treads for ladder climbing ,wide soles for greater contact ,open cleats for easy cleaning & sand blasted surface finish for enhanced slip resistance. Refer pics attached.Equipped with a grey bijoli insole, they can be worn while working in warehouses, construction sites, petroleum refineries, steel plants etc.Comes with a 1 year sole cracking warranty too.2.) IMPACT PROTECTION:***********************************The safety shoe has a steel toe cap for optimum protection from impact rated at 200 Joules ie.it can safely bear an impact of 2 kg falling from 10 meters or 20 kg from 1 meter.It also has a comfort strip around steel toe which is very effective in providing cushion to feet from hard steel toe corners.3.) LACES & EYELETS:******************************The shoe comes with a strong, black and grey striped lace which is about 2 ft. in length. The lace is held in place by 4+4 riveted shackle type eyelets along with 1+1 speed hook lacing system.Not merely this, The shoe has two separate small sections with reflective piece of fabric and lining stiched around the eyelets which further helps in easy identification of the pair in low light conditions from a distance.Not to say it adds to the fancy looks too.4.) TYPE & DIMENSIONS:**********************************Our shoe in review is a high ankle type model AC-1157 ( AC-1156 is the low ankle type) which are designed to provide an enhanced foot protection while working in hazardous areas.For a number 7 safety shoe the length of the shoe fares at exactly 12 inches outsole length with a width of 4.3 inches at foot. The ankle height from the sole bottom is curved and ranges from 6 to 6.5 inches near the lace.5.) CONFORMANCE & COMPLIANCES:**************************************************The Shoe comes with an ISI mark IS 15298 part 2 & 4 and also bears the CE ( Conformance to European standards) & DGMS ( Directorate general of mines safety) conformance along the lines of EN-20345 safety standard which is testimony to its authenticity ,quality and durability.6.) PRICE & WEIGHT :****************************I bought it from amazon at a price of 1990 with 129 bucks extra as shipping charges.Thus against a printed MRP of 2295 bucks, I got it at a total of 2119 bucks at doorstep.Regarding the weight of the pair, its approximately around 400 grams which is quite decent when considering the amount of armor and cushion it holds beneath.FINAL VERDICT:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAll in all, In my personal opinion,this particular safety shoe ticks all the right boxes pertaining not only to safety but to extreme comfort,pleasant looks & reasonable pricing.I have used a lot of reputed safety shoe brands but nothing has been so comfortable and fancy that I have come across, so I have been buying it repeatedly for past few years and definitely recommend it to all looking for a great safety shoe.

I called customercare 24/02/2025 for return but she saying no return but product damage issue forwarding to higher authority, issue resolved within 28/02/2025 but no update Poor customer care i purchased high cost safety shoe but no comfortable and my foot also scratched .I am very very unsatisfied

Very Good Quality of Product.

As far as quality is good but condition of shoes from the tip is damaged. As scheme was mentioned for a free pair of sock I did not get it with the parcel.Please improve your package quality also

Good shoe with study heals, metal top, boot like finish makes this shoe little heavy but after wearing it is comfortable to walk and work.

Comfortable to wear & worth for money
