Deda Elementi Handlebar Tape

I fitted this bar tape yesterday and have ridden with it once so far, but already it has made a very positive impression on me. Until my last two attempts I haven't particularly enjoyed fitting bar tape, but now I guess I have had enough practice to make a reasonable job of it.I found this tape actually very easy to fit. The adhesion was really good, it was straightforward to get it lined up in the right places, and I'm particularly thrilled with the finish. There was plenty of excess on my 40cm drop bars, and therefore I didn't require the extra small offcuts for the shifters.The colour is vibrant and the logo detail is nice and understated. Some people like things a particular way may not like the fact the the logo faces in different directions on the tops and the drops, but that's not an issue for me!In terms of comfort, I've fitted this onto a dedicated turbo bike so I can't comment on it's shock absorbency, but it felt great whilst sitting in front of Zwift for 90 minutes. It's probably not going to be the most sweat repellant tape you'll find, but at this price my plan is to just replace it every 3 months or so when it gets too smelly.

Nice and cheap bike tape. I don't think it will last too long, but for the price it is most certainly worth it.

I found this bar tape very easy to wrap. I've wrapped a few bars over the years with mixed results mostly due to the type of tape I was using at the time.This bar tape was very easy to handle, had the whole job done in next to no time. Decent results too.The finishing tape isn't great but I find that's usually the case with any bar tape, certainly the ones I've used. Much prefer to use electricians tape.Overall, this bar tape was great and of very good quality, definitely buy again.

Great price great product

Lasted for a couple of months only... if you try to reapply it wont work since the tape starts falling apart... so you have to buy a new one. Same money once - pay twice as they say...

Absolutely in love!!

The rolls are a little short and the material is not super grippy. So that's one star off. As for the other 4, they stay as the tape goes on easy, is robust enough to wrap quite tightly and looks well on the bike. The little logos look good (as long as you get the tape wrapped the right way round) and the bar ends go in and stay in. The finishing tape is rubbish but they always are, just use cheap electric insulation tape, works much better.

This product it's excellent, It will stretch about 7" extra in total, first try it without peel but do not stretch yet, than start to peel the film off about 4" at time go for one around at time and pull it hard it will extend but pay attention not too much, remember you can undo your round and start again but not too worry about the glue because it is the stretching that will make this product stick on the steering so more you stretch and more thin and stick will be, overlap just about 3 mm at end of each edge and again stretch to the next round, it is better if you stretch it half round at time for more control and precise work when overlap on the top of the edge at about 3 mm.
